We have freakin bar stool racing for fucks sake......😐 We basically do have this, we just don't quite have this exact kind of terrain/weather together. Some boggy kinda stuff in Alaska. We've got side by side, all kinds of rock racing, mud bogs (just boring straight ones though), short course, stadium, open desert racing, if there is a thing, we race it. I'm sure there are probably organized leaf blower/office chair races somewhere. If not there should be. Or homemade hovercrafts. Each team gets a few leaf blowers, a piece of plywood, some rubber, a bunch of duck tape, and an hour or so to build, then race...

Fun stuff but why 100 points per gate? Wouldn't the spread be the same if it was 1 point per gate? Are there any little points (less than 100)?
@dposer106 жыл бұрын
The thing i don't like is if you get ahead you go first and the people that go first always rack up the highest points because they are using the fresh course. Meaning unless you get a lucky break on the first couple you won't ever win
@cowpertrucks4954
6 жыл бұрын
For the first two years we ran the trucks in the same order each course. This was more for filming and editing reasons than anything else. But yes it seemed the later you hit the courses the better. So with the event you watching now the initial start order was drawn from a hat. Thats the order they ran for the first coures. Then on the 2nd course the first guy went to the back and so on and so on. That meant that each driver got to go 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc on a course. 10 drivers, 10 courses. Couldnt think of a way to do it any fairer.

Hi Bill. Yes it certainly makes it a team effort. Usually co-driver on brakes as driver has more than enough to do in heat of the moment. Remember no stopping in this game. Sometimes lockers and rear steer by co driver just depends on individual preferances.

🤣🤣🤣 where?!¿?¡ There's a Buick, but no Suzuki.
What are the control levers that the assistant is using in these vehicles? Rear steer controls or maybe side to side brakes? Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

Individual Brake levers for each wheel
Pardon my ignorance but the co-driver, is he controlling the rear stear? or are the levers rear steer and cutting brakes?

never mind I just hears them say that they are individual brake levers, (cutting breaks) pretty amazing stuff!
I think a gate bar would be better vertically on one side of the screen lol

as above....will look into it. Im sure if we put it up the side people will say it should be at bottom of screen lol
I wonder if there are rules about the tires you can use. None of these trucks are using really aggressive tires. I tried looking up rules but found nothing. Anyone know?
I bet the announcer does golf shows also lol
Thanks for making this video. I really wanted to enjoy it, but found the editing too annoying to watch. The limited distant-footage was great, but the video had too many cuts, too many close-ups, and too much in-car footage. And that giant annoying gate-graphic covering much of the action.
Can someone tell me what are the levers for?

I'm confused. What is the co driver doing? Is he changing gears? Hopefully someone will let me know. Oh brakes
How are they riding with no goggles
I saw a lot of inconsistent judging, for the trucks brushing the gates & tape-line. Some would touch them, and still earn the points. Need more people on-course keeping an eye on the rules. Other than that, very exciting motor sport!!
What are the levers the passengers constantly pulling?
Kenaoe lah banyak sangat iklan ni
So the driver doesn't control the breaks? This is some weird shit and I love it.
Need super swamper boggers!!!!!
Look up powercruise Sydney or Brisbane that’s street driven but the original and still the ultimate car show that car heads have the biggest horsepower is summernats in Canberra and y’all be able to see how to do a proper burnout lol even girls love them shows
Next week?!?! What's this? Netflix???
Massa, falo do Brasil, algum Brasileiro por aqui? Hehe
Fun stuff but why 100 points per gate? Wouldn't the spread be the same if it was 1 point per gate? Are there any little points (less than 100)?
The thing i don't like is if you get ahead you go first and the people that go first always rack up the highest points because they are using the fresh course. Meaning unless you get a lucky break on the first couple you won't ever win

Couldnt think of a way to do it any fairer.
well thats a good way to get pink eye lol
lol, how do you even get into this stuff?

Don't the courses get harder as they go?
@cowpertrucks4954

not necessarily. They are all designed to test the trucks and competitors. Viewers want to watch the vehicles get somewhere and not get stuck at beginning of course. And sometimes it is difficult to achieve that.
I'd love to see these buggies rock crawl.

the passenger controls turning brakes and lockers???
@cowpertrucks4954

Hi Bill. Yes it certainly makes it a team effort. Usually co-driver on brakes as driver has more than enough to do in heat of the moment. Remember no stopping in this game. Sometimes lockers and rear steer by co driver just depends on individual preferances.
Get rid of that large gate bar taking up screen space, fun video to watch but the bar is annoying.
Please use paddle tires on that mud.
What are those leavers for?

Trail Work nah, man. When he pulls one it gives the other brakes a break. It's for wheels to take individual breaks so they can have a cigarette and cool down after a long shift.
