Suzuki Carry JDM 4x4 kei truck ladder rack build

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video I build a ladder rack for my Suzuki Carry 4x4 Kei truck. I use my M600 Rogue Fab bender to bend most of the tubing for this project. Other tools used are my Langmuir system’s crossfire pro CNC table and my Yeswelder 205 DS. Excellent tools that make this job much nicer.
I plan to build a canvas cover for it so i can do some camping.
This is the Crossfire CNC plasma table from Langmuir systems.

First thing I thought. Surely he's not going to mount that on the bed sides. Nope, he didn't. LOL! I love you have the kiddos helping out. You can teach them sooner but often not later. I was teaching my 9 year old granddaughter how to weld. She saw me altering a bicycle and wanted to know how. Now she's pretty good for a little girl! LOL! She came up to me and said one of her friends was bragging about falling off her bike and skinning up her knee. She told her friend that she got this burn from welding up hers! Yep! That's my girl! Thanks for the cool music in the video. I'm all for something that drives the whiners nuts. Take care, stay safe! Terry from South Carolina

Ladder rack came out exceptional. 👍👍😎👍👍 Can’t wait for the next Festiva episode 😁

Thanks for checking out my new video Joel 👍 I really appreciate it! Haha I hope I’m not getting you in trouble with tool purchases 😂 The dimple dies are definitely pricey, there are a few different kits available from Swag off-road, Troy the owner of the company is an upstanding individual, I have spoken with him a few times on the phone and I admire what he is doing with his business. Basically he was an engineer working a full time job, but was making useful tools on the side at home, he started getting more requests for bandsaw stands and other stuff, he kept at it and before long he was working for himself engineering more products and started his own business. 🙂 Take care Joel.

I am loving those dimple dies. That’s next on my list. Love the look it gives and like Mike stated. The strength. The same way bead rolling gives strength to straight panels. Awesome as always. It certainly takes the anxiety out of starting new projects for someone like me, who gets bogged down in the details to the point of being too anxious to even start. Plus, the fact that you use affordable tools certainly shows that you don’t need the most expensive equipment on the market to do a good job. Also, props to your camera person! P.S. Pretty sure I’ve seen that Dodge rig in the background in some of the overlanding groups I’m in online. Looks like a sweet rig!

This reminds me of back when I was active in the 4x4 crowd. There was a guy in our club that would weld up steps and bumpers for 4x4’s that were made of round tubing, but he welded them up tight and fitted them with air compressor fittings so they could double as air pressure tanks for the little compressors we took on the trails.
