The house has lots of curb appeal, and the views are impressive. The rooms are a good size. While some may see the kitchen as dated it has great charm, and it's quite functional the way it is. I would not want to change it. The master suite is well laid out, though having the bathroom for the other two bedrooms on a different level could be inconvenient. If the buyer needed only one of those bedrooms, the other could be made into an ensuite with space for a small office. The accessory buildings offer choices, including a gite for rental income or living/bedroom space for other family members.

OMG! Again with the bucolic, charming and quintessential French cottage style. I was starting to get emotional from seeing how beautiful the countryside is and how magical that property is. There's a word for that I thought I had forgotten but it is, "Stendalhism". Means to be overcome by beauty, art, nature, architecture, etc... I could sell that place on descriptions alone, Suzanne! Wow, that's impressive! Who wouldn't want to live in a house like this?! The trees need some trimming up but other than that and work on the stairwell I wouldn't change anything. This is exactly what I expect when I think french country manor house. So beautiful.

First time I have seen this and his house is presented. Perfect. Enough done and enough to do, great location, out buildings with lots of opportunity and it is sufficiently quirky to make it a fun place to live. Lots of original features too. ...can I afford it.....nope. Good luck selling it.

The only concern in such a beautiful property is that it is surrounded by corn fields that are most definitely sprayed with pesticides so that would be a absolute no/deal breaker for me.

There are strict regulations about that here and we even have signs up about eco friendly products etc but buyers are free to do their own research.

I think the house itself was very nice, was just put off a bit by all those outbuildings - so much to worry about maintaining, altho with a specific use they coiuld be a real asset. The countryside surroundings are lovely tho. A delightful place for someone with the right plans for using it all !

It is how it works in France.

When panning your camera, move more slowly as the human eye needs to connect to a brain in order to make sense of what it is seeing. Move to fast and it's just a blur. Thank you

Surrounding areas outside are very pretty. Furnishings are old fashion and do not appeal to everyone. Confused with the placement of master bedroom bed. Cosmetic work would need to be done inside but the land is lovely.

Boy, this has got ME written all over it. I could do so much with those out buildings. Funny enough though, I actually like and want neighbors. Having no neighbors might be a killer. Not to mention being in the middle of nowhere. Again positives for many, but this old city kid needs my people and entertainment at hand.

France leads the way when it comes to energy efficiency and there are already numerous grants available for renovation projects providing it is your first residence. All heating/energy reports are provided on all our listings and if it is below the current guidelines then an additional report is paid for by the seller. This came into force in March.
