I bought the record Solitude Standing in the 80s because Luka was a unique song, man was I blown away by how good the whole record is. Vega's music has been a part of my life ever since.

I REALLY love this woman.

Little piece of trivia, “When Heroes Go Down” is the only song in the history of all song writing in the history of our world, that has the word ‘equivocate’ in it. What a beautiful soft velvety voice. I love her immensely…

Wonderful peformance. Suzanne is as great here as ever. Also a shoutout to Mike Viseglia, what a player (listen to his tone and articulation of Penitent).

I'm learning Penitent on guitar, but I'm also a bass player, and I love Mike's work on this.

'Songs In Red And Gray' is very underrated, IMO.

Just wow, this woman is an inspiration. Incredibly talented and a very lovely human being 🙏

Knowing the background to this performance of new songs then,one could imagine the pathos, the poignancy, the hurt and the delicate beauty that makes suzanne a marvel.

This is great - accompanied with bass, so much warmer than by just an electric guitar. Bob Carlson, don't you agree?

Masterful, poignant, brilliant, essential.

Rare and beautiful artist who has it all..her writing is enchanted with magical genius,as is her deeply emotionally moving vocal tone.The combination is mind blowing.An artist like this graces our lives once in a century if we are lucky❤

Not knocking every other singer songwriter but she's my hands down favorite ever. I'm currently learning Songs in Red and Gray, where several of these songs appeared.

AS BASS PLAYER I CAN SEE HOW WELL MIKE PLAYED THIS PERFORMANCE BUY BOTH IS SO WELL DONE FLAWLESS

I saw SV about 10 years ago and would go see her again if she would do a tour with a full band - though I do understand the economics would prevent that. That said, the version of Widow's Walk here feels much more personal and powerful than the recorded (full band) version to me.
