Seebass and Razen aren't with the group anymore for various reasons that I'll keep private. I know it's rough when a favored member of the team disappears from vids, but things just happen sometimes, especially in raid groups. Eva and Choco have joined the party to fill those gaps and they're individuals we've enjoyed playing with for a while now off camera, so I hope you guys will enjoy them too. Also, don't worry about any of us sounding "mean". That's just our humor. If there was any actual animosity shown, it would not be put in the videos and be swiftly dealt with privately. So if anyone sounds "rude" or "mean" just know that's a part of the joke. Hopefully that makes things less uncomfortable for everyone :P

That's really sad to hear, but things have a tendency to happen. They'll be missed, for sure, but I hope that they're okay and that they'll do well in future endeavors, in real life and in game!

I haven’t actually known much about Eva outside of Larry’s videos but it just clued into me that it’s THAT Eva haha I love her evil laugh and Larry’s “cameo” thank you once again for sharing your content with us. I haven’t been able to play for half a year now for various reasons so this helps keep me in the loop.

Why have all of NEST's casters been named after food? EDIT: I know I'll miss Seebass and Razen, but the new dynamics with the new people and the shifting of spots ironically keeps the humor fresh in NEST and makes me laugh more. So.... while I'll miss them, every video with someone new is like... a whole new experience so it refreshes my laughter in a whole new way xD

Mike especially (because of all the colorblind jokes that were said in Seph and A10S it's hard to forget) since I've been subscribed before the A6S video (at most) and watching all of the videos on Drak's channel before then. I think the first video I watched was... Probably A5S. Although, I think my favorite is still Nidhogg (Ex) with A12S being second. Because of how humor with the new people who come in seems to just make me laugh in different ways, I'll keep enjoying this content even when the game inevitably becomes no longer a part of my life or Drak's as everything will eventually;

Yeah, about that enrage... There is one, but it's working differently from all the other fights. Basically at around 11 minutes, IF the boss is down to her last 10% (I'm guessing her "If it must be thus or whatever" voiceline is the trigger there) when you get to that time frame in the fight, the enrage is not happening yet and you can keep going. If she's still above that, she just ends it right there. Took us a while to figure that out (coincidentally, "This is Enrage" is now becoming a running joke in our FC since then), so yeah, not too surprised you guys cleared without seeing it. It seems _very_ generous if you can get past that trigger. Also, grats for the clear, and I love the new party members ! They're cool additions !

I can't agree with that idea on enrage. I've seen her enrage at the 4th melody/phoenix days several times while she was at like 5% and several times she was above 15% and didn't enrage until a 5th melody/phoenix says

Ah? Interesting... Maybe there's another condition I'm not aware of then. It's just that, we managed to go several times to that one melody at the 11 minute mark, where the enrage can happen. Every single time we were there with about 5% or so left, we kept going. Then we had that one really messy run where everyone died left and right but we still managed to recover (long live LB 3), and ended up on this phase at 11% left, where she promptly decided she wasn't interested anymore and blew us up with the Enrage. It was at the same timing, too. So maybe there's other conditions thrown in there somewhere, or it's not that and it was just the coincidence of the century... Interesting either way.

It's pretty annoying when enrages are like this tbh. O2s had this issue when my group was progging and sometimes the fight would enrage sooner than it should. (It would skip i believe 100gs can't remember the name)

Late response, but you should give it a try if you're still interested upon hitting 70. FFXIV has made almost all end-game content extremely accessible. Only issue is that it can sometimes be tricky finding a static, so getting into an FC and trying to get to know people while playing can really help with that; PF is totally doable if you don't go the static route though.

I forgot who jumped but on 4:34 is the best ever and Eva on 5:02 I believe "LARRY, STOP, STOP" lol I love Choco and Eva. I hope to see more with them on your vids. 😊

I'm a bit disappointed that she didn't res just right before Mesmerizing Melody finishes casting (where everyone gets sucked in). It'd be so hilarious if that happened. But still, the timing is still funny XD

Is the phase 2 music edit'd over the base music or is there some secret to get it to play throughout the entire fight

It's all edited in. I don't record with any music in the game (which does get a tad boring), but it makes for a clean edit when add some in later :P

From what I can tell, Razen was having trouble juggling real life and being a member of two raid groups, so he decided to leave one to give himself more breathing room. Naturally, NEST ended up being the one he left; he's still part of Team Technical Difficulties (which Jesse recently joined, btw- both of them stream their raid nights these days!). Seebass, I'm not sure about. It's not the first time he's left the group, though.

Not this time! Wasn't really feeling it :c but hopefully more so in future videos! Been in kind of a funk.

I refute Tate's 'AoE dont take tower' logic I have repeatedly taken both the tower and AoE and lived as a bard. Oddly enough only the tower hits you if you take it with the AoE. Now if its a person without the AoE getting cleaved while taking the tower...that has killed people

It seems to be some server tick/luck based nonsense. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes the debuff triggers and you just get destroyed.

Sometimes I wish I had at least 30% of Eva's diabolical attitude when it comes to healing, but I'm a doormat that immediately apologises so it fails. Btw if this can make Choco feel less of a dumb, I thought that Mario said "Lapeko!" when I was younger and was playing Mario 64 DS. The only excuse I have is that English isn't my first language.
