Frogmore Cottage is nothing to do with the taxpayer. It's owned by the Crown Estate, which is an independent business, sitting between the public and private sector. All net profits from the business, which are substantial, are returned to the Treasury.

Yes, they needed to remove themselves from Frogmore Cottage, regardless of whether anyone is living in there or not at present. Thankfully this hasn’t happened in over 200 years I have looked at the Act dated 1937 and a regent would have to be permanently domiciled in the UK Under the current circumstances the councillors of state will act for the king as he is still performing his royal duties just not doing large public facing events so a regent is not required. As of November 2022 Charles appointed 2 new councillors of state and changed the conditions so that only working royals can now be councillors of state who have permanent residence in the UK so Hasbeen is (if you will excuse the expression) f**k’d which ever way he turns

Absolutely King Charles was correct to remove them from Frogmore Cottage. The King is a smart and caring man who I'm sure does not suffer fools gladly particularly when they go about hurting the people he loves and wants to protect.

One would think Haz/MeGain would have worked out long BEFORE they decided to marry one another, what is the birth order in the BRF, what are the rules, and what their position would be in the Monarchy upon marriage?! Instead, judging from their subsequent ongoing capers, one would think that the order of succession and RF protocols came to them as a TOTAL SHOCK after marriage, and that ever since, they hugely resent these facts! It almost seems like they twigged onto the seniority/ protocols/rules of the Monarchy only AFTER marriage, then hugely resented their Spare position, then chose to go rogue? Yes, it was, and is, very necessary to keep those two horrors, Harry and Megan ,away from William and Catherine .

They are no longer royals and do not reside in the UK so the King was 100% right to remove them. The problem with the Harkles is they want the best of both worlds and on their terms and that is not how it works. They are no longer the responsibility of the UK taxpayer and we are NOT happy as things stand at the moment with him getting any security at all but if he were to get 24 hour security if he lived in the UK would be grounds for the British taxpayers to rise up and I suspect they would.
