What some of y'all don't understand is that people like that don't care about "him wanting her now" or going to jail - they've played that scenario out in their head and are okay with the possible outcome. Nothing outweighs their hate and jealousy - she'd rather spend the rest of her life in prison than live free with so much bitterness, hatred, and jealousy. @@andriataylor4758 Have I been to prison? No but I know someone who did 3.5 yrs for assault and said prison was terrible but what made it easier was knowing that he beat the ish out of that dude. That's part of where my analysis comes from. This is not a "you don't know if you haven't been to prison" thing. This is about a level of hatred and bitterness that exceeds any form of concern for ones freedom. I don't think you know how extremely hateful some people can be. Do you think these types of people don't know what they're going to deal with in jail, or know what others have been through/going through in jail? People like this can't sleep or be at peace without doing what they did. They'd rather die or lose their freedom than wake up every morning filled with hate and anger. Have you ever wondered why some people make it out of jail and end up going back? That's because they know what jail is like and are OK with it. Some people are just okay with prison. Yes they regret it because they've satisfied that craving that put them in jail in the first place, but that doesn't mean they'd do it differently given a 2nd chance. The act that put them in jail is medication for their anger /hate/jealousy issues.

Lesser included offense. Wasn't needed at sentencing because in Pennsylvania 1st or 2nd degree murder is automatic life sentence. In this state there is no "good time" or parole after a certain number of years. They will NEVER get out. There is no parole for 1st or 2nd degree murder convictions in this state. Its forever.

The guy was actually with the victim first and cheated with Julie, the mastermind behind the murder. He broke things off with Julie and went back to the victim. It sounds so good hearing they received life without parole. The hitman knew her son was in the car and still carried out the crime.

The shooter got 40. But I believe that was federal. Remember that they all plead guilty to avoid a trial. They had good counsel because Mississippi is full of black people and it would have been almost impossible to keep blacks off the jury in which case they would have been convicted and sent away for good.

Dear Fellow Black People: let's stop with the forgiving of people who do us dirty. That ol' time slavery ish is not necessary anymore. It is okay not to forgive people who have done you wrong, and you can still get into Heaven.

A true Christian, which I am sure the father is......the only way is forgiveness. Forgiveness releases the victims of bitterness and anger and even potential revenge. It does not at all excuse the criminal.

Honestly my blood boils every single time i hear that statement of forgiveness and am a Nigerian living in the u.s. especially stories of black men released after many years wrongly imprisoned..how do u forgive those who destroyed your life..makes no sense
