Bernard Cornwell hasn't written a bad book. All are excellent reading and well researched...I wish Mr. Cornwell was writing books when I was trying to study English History, there the type of books that spark an interest.

Definitely, Azincourt is very historically accurate Cornwell definitely but in the study time on this one to explore Azincourt in depth, but it’s entertaining too especially when regarding Hook and Mesilande’s story, he also isn’t biased towards either side in the battle either, although primarily focused on the English army, he describes the french experience of the battle though sire de Lanferelle, which is a nice tough, I really think a film or series adaptation of this book would be great, telling the story of Azincourt through the common archers perspective is a great idea, for far too long has history been told though the perspective of great royal dynasties and not from the perspective of the lowly commoner who without him, the great kings vast conquests and victories would never be possible, I hope for a film adaptation after reading this book but I doubt they will, as most when regarding Azincourt turn to Shakespeare, yet I think this as a movie would be a fresh new take on the historical epic genre
