I understand as a woman in her 40's it would be hard enough to tell your kids about surgery never mind a cancer diagnosis and to be fair Kate and Wills kind of told everyone anyway as abdominal surgery followed by an absence of a woman this age was glaringly exactly what it is. He's awful. Violent man with a terrible temper. He didn't even visit C in the hospital for 2 straight weeks. Never brought the kids to visit. His dad visited her more than W did. If it takes a man 10 years to propose ladies, he does NOT love you. He settled for you. He has never acknowledged the personal donation of half a million pounds given to Invictus by Prince William when they were struggling with funding. It is worth noting that Harry has never, as far as we know donated money to the Games, but has all of his and his wife’s expenses paid for by Invictus Games.

The word had come from the Palace she was having surgery and wouldn't be seen until after Easter. That should have been it. Harassing her and saying terrible things until she had to speak out and share something so personal and serious was shameful. The media and anyone who contributed to it should be genuinely ashamed of themselves. Praying for a full recovery for Catherine and King Charles and love to them and the Royal family. They're not vulnerable, they will come out of this stronger.

As a mother of small children, Catherine’s wish for public to respect her reluctance to share her situation is spot on. All of these posts by people who are willing to speculate wildly about life events without regard to the consequences do not bode well for the future anywhere.

What a disappointing story. Have any of your staff battled cancer? You could have done a story about how brave, and inspiring King Charles, Princess Catherine are?

I have to admit, in all of this, William has won my respect, he has shown to be the strong husband, son and father that you need when your family goes through difficult times. Massive respect, he is a real royal and a true leader. Princess Catherine will recover, she is young and strong, and cancer research has done a lot of progress, so all will be well.

I know Harry’s trip to the UK to see his father wasn’t because he’s the loving son, it was to find out the scoop about what kind of cancer his father had and to try and find out what kind of surgery Princess Catherine had! From all reports, nothing on Catherine's face was altered. There were a few minor edits on other parts of the photo, mostly the children's clothing and hand placement. Catherine posted the photo on their social media site, where it was picked up by news media, who then had to reject it based on the edits. The palace did not issue a "kill" order, since the palace didn't see the photo until later. There's so much misinformation. I've tried to collect reports from reliable sources, but if anyone has more accurate details from trustworthy authorities, please share.

Nothing was said about the hard work the Princess Royal puts in every day. We get fed up about hearing about H&M and all their lies. They’re not considered as Royals, so we in the UK don’t want them here! God save the King, Queen and Prince and Princess of Wales.

The edited picture was a storm in a teacup but was reported totally out of proportion. Everyone edits their photos, even professionals. It was unnecessarily nasty! I hope those that were guilty get it back in spades.

Now (sorry to bring her up like another hairball) if somebody had the nerve to criticise that wonderful photo of Markle kick-boxing....oh wait, it turned out to be a blonde, fit woman, who'd had Markle's head photoshopped in for a puff article about how athletic the dear Doochess is. The legs were a dead giveaway, the woman in the photo had calf muscles.

Every media outlet including Sky News need to reevaluate on how they report something. Reporting on rumors makes you nothing but a tabloid and not news.

Who cares if a mother or father manipulates a family picture taken by them? We all clean up our photos. That is ridiculous.

I was devastated by Catherine's announcement, but I think she handled it with great courage and grace. As far as William forgiving Harry, I don't think that will happen. Harry and his wife have merched off the family and written hideously insulting books and made vile interviews. Playing the race card is particularly offensive. You don't see Oprah inviting them over for tea after that stupid traitorous interview. Most of Hollywood don't want anything to do with them. Sorry you and your brother got in a row. My husband has stage 4 stomach cancer. It’s no joke. I hope the King and Princess Catherine fully recover. Cancer is evil. It can come back anytime even if you beat it the first time. So sad.

Maybe Kate doesn't want people to see her without her beautiful hair, leave her alone. I've been thru cancer and my hair didn't grow back but I pray that she gets better and looks more beautiful than ever. Cancer is not an easy fight. God bless her
