🇵🇭💖Always checking on your videos time and again. Take care, God bless!👍✌️
Thank you for sharing. I used to take a ship to Bacolod and its 2 hours boat ride and in the middle of the ocean there are 7 small islands. I've never been to this oceanjet ride. Thanks for the details.

True. We attended the wedding of my uncle in Oton and we brought our car from Negros. During those days big ships( by Negros Navigation: Don Vicente and Princess of Negros) serving Negros and Panay Islands.

@Sally Bedow No fun at all, Ms. Sally. Fortunately, in other ferry trips B had no problems. Some of us get seasick on anything bigger than a 🛶. I envy people who can read or knit or do any work in a vehicle/train/car/boat! I like Dramamine tabs OTC, or even better patches, but those require prescription, I think. For me helps to face/sit direction boat is traveling, hang head out window or have air blasting my face, M is correct; stand if possible w flexed knees, but gotta catch it right away. Once ur sick then can’t stand well. Look forward in direction of the travel @ the horizon. She’s all better by now I’m sure, but if I have no meds, I’d go for a ginger tea. Since in Asia it would be easy to find I imagine. Or ginger ale.
Omg last time I took the fast craft many many years ago when it's just 100+php with Sea Angels of Negros Navigation. Nowadays fast craft serving Iloilo and Bacolod you can't feel the plane like atmosphere.
Welcome to the Philippines Family more power to your vlogs guys 🤠
Welcome to my homeland, Negros. Don't miss the Campuestuhan and Mambukal.Stay safe
1st comment...Just stay out open & feel the fresh air to rid off from dizziness...Enjoy & Happy travels TPL✌✌✌
My wife is from Bacolod area, Silay City to be exact. Her family lives in Talisay. You might want to check out Magikland in Silay city ( open on weekends i think).
Go to don Salvador , mambukal n sipalay if you are in bacolod
I like the views around the port of Iloilo, beautiful, you do not see dilapidated buildings. Kudos to the Mayor.
Just watching the waves made me sea sick
I'll be on the lookout for ya'll around town!
Good to travel again , Silay, Talisay, Bago, is part of the cradle city of Bacolod
hope to see you guys here in Bacolod!! Oh, I so miss traveling to Iloilo
Im going here, after ilo ilo. I'm excited for the trip!
Looks great fun. Love the ocean ♡♡♡
finally the city of smiles🗼🗼🗼 bacolod is a small but modern city, my work there before was literally a walk away
Back in bacolod next week. Cant wait to escape the english rain ☔️.
Enjoy your time in Bacolod, stay 😎 cool
Pls take Bonamine tablet to avoid sea sick. I take that if I travel by boat.
Can you make a vlog comparing Iloilo City and Bacolod City?

Bad idea. Sister cities. You're triggering conflict between the people of Iloilo and Bacolod
Bianca and Michael ----- Did you forget your Dramamine??? Dramamine is always necessary for long car and boat rides. Anyways, enjoy your stay in Bacolod.....🙂
When traveling by boat on a windy day, it is better not to stay up on the deck, as you will surely feel the sway from the wave hitting the boat...........just like sitting at the back most seat of a bus going on a zigzag road... you’ll feel the centrifugal force from each turn... it both can make you feel seasick....
I go for the lower deck if the sea waves are high.. there is not much swaying there than in Upper deck
Hope you feel Better 🫶🫶🫶
Try the Roro Fastcat next time, longer travel time but friendlier on the waves.

Online it said currently unavailable not sure why
If you guys liked this kind of travel vlogs by Michael & B, don't forget to like, comment, Subscribe to That Philippines Life and hit that notification bell for more adventures with the lovely couple! And by the way guys, RORO means Roll On - Roll Off, It's the type of boats that takes you to far provinces where you had to ride a bus and a boat simultaneously to get to your destination 😊
Try the fastcat ferry next time for less bumpy ride bec. For what i know the boat design cuts through the waves and it is what i always ride from iloilo to bacolod and vice versa. So much to explore in Negros Island. Enjoy your trip and keep safe guys 😊

Take care, and drink some water, fresh air and candy ( minty ) might help… enjoy
You can take a different routes in Dumangas port which has a bigger boat, with 1 hr and half and gonna anchors in Banago port, take your pick, mostly people chooses either port when going to Negros, if I have a rough ride I choose Dumangas port, and when the seas are calm I go with Iloilo city port, enjoy!,

They give you this white stuff to snort up your nose. Stops the sea sickness. And it’s not cocaine! Lol. Maybe a Filipino on here knows what I’m talking about.
Geez, for a lousy $15 why wouldn’t you go business class?
@BiancaBeyond

It's about $20 Canadian each and it's just one hour. But like Bianca says we didn't have a great experience in business class to Bohol it was better out in the fresh air. Clearly not this time
