Incredible is an understatement phenomenal filming great commentary thank you for this exceptional episode. In Africa we used to carry a small jar of potassium permanganate - common name Condies crystal for wounds or fish bites this stuff stops infection immediately it quarterises the wound immediately. We used this when fishing in the wildest areas of lake kariba. It saved us many times. Tiger fish have an anti coagulant on their teeth this makes stopping the bleeding very difficult and infection usually follows rather quickly. Using the crystals on the wound immediately stops bleeding and infection. Strongly suggest you carry a jar when you go into the wild. Best of luck!!!

It is quite incredible the Drone footage along side the Go Pro footage… Seriously both of you - You should be snapped up by a major sponsor…. To create even more footage of your incredible journeys… You are definitely on a park to the UK’s “Wildlife on One” series (that on UK TELEVISION (AS IN David Attenborough) I just love your videos - and the beautiful way you both interact with each other Please keep your videos coming. The appreciation of the Bradshaw paintings was truly remarkable, hope you mend up well, and see you on the other side. Side note: NORTHWEST PASSAGE. He sailed east across the Pacific and anchored in NOOTKA SOUND, on Vancouver Island (29 March 1778). His men repaired his ships and carried on a lucrative trade with the Nootka for otter pelts. He departed 26 April 1778 and sailed into Bering Strait in search of the passage, retreating in the face of a wall of ice. He was killed in the Sandwich Islands in an altercation with the local people. There is most likely another side to the story.

I’ve had a similar shin too that lasted awhile, but luckily wasn’t days away in the bush. That area doesn’t get a lot of blood flow, so it doesn’t heal easily. Theodore Roosevelt had a major shin injury while floating a river in Brazil by slipping on rocks that nearly killed him with infection and that never fully healed. You made the right decision to depart when you did to get medical care.

Ive done a bunch of hiking and climbing in the canyons of Utah and to find ancient evidence of inhabitants is a huge thrill!! Also, finding running water in such arid climates is a real treasure! I however usually do not trust drinking straight from the stream, I always filter! You never know what could be laying in the water above you!😝

Please invest in a rotating Polaroid lens for your cameras. We spent 2 months traveling around the 4 corners area of the American West and took hundreds of photos of rock art, the rotating polarized lenses let you dial in the sharpest contrast, a night and day difference to the washed-out photos without those lenses. Also you can dial the glare off the water surface for much better photos of fish, etc. even holding your glasses over the lens will help. Thanks for the great videos!

I grew up catching fish in Florida. We have a couple ways to make mullet taste pretty awesome. First is just butterflied and slow smoked until it's dry. But if you take the smoked meat off the skin and shred it or grind it in a food processor and add chopped onions, bell pepper, garlic, whatever seasoning you like, and mayonnaise. Put it on crackers or toast. WOW. I don't want anything to do with fried or baked mullet but smoked mullet spread really isn't just okay, it's great. The same recipe works very well with mackerel and other oily fish too. If you can smoke the fish all day with low heat it's better than hotter and faster. Old salty Floridians smoked mullet for 48 hours but they had special smokers for doing it a lot.
