I can speak from experience on Pve servers that there is a small but very welcome group of people who build on platform saddles. Respect to them for the weight and structure management and not taking up an entire mountain with 300 pillars

I love plesios! They are not only fast underwater tames but also great for having structures in them and can have turrets so it's like an underwater queztal. It's pretty easy to tame, imagine having speed, health and melee mutations on these, they would become killing biomachines

Usually I don’t like watching ark PvP vids. I just don’t like the style of gameplay and I lose interest easily. How the heck did you do this, this is literally the only ark PvP vid I was interested enough in to complete and I enjoyed it. Absolute magician.

0:10 yes, i did. I had a base on mosas back in the deepest part of ocean on center. Mosa with grinder and farbricators, fridges, cryofridges. Mosa for transporting tons of refinded metal from sneaky outpost, much later megachelon for breeding tames underwater and strider (still underwater ) for quick transportation. Good times.

the most fun i ever had was going full plesio build with some hidden (or well defended) industrial forges and farming dinos. i was playing on a high pop unofficial server and this was years ago but the random pvp from a plesio was so much fun.

I lived on a pleasy in small tribe's and I ended up ruling the lost island ocean. It's best for you to cook your metal by placing forges near metal spots close to water or on boats. Being successful living in the water requires a water army and knowing the layout of the water better then others. Most people don't like fighting in water so the experience will give you the edge especially in early game with points in your oxygen

Not sure if he figures this out since I haven’t watched it all yet, but if you use angler gel as the fuel for furnaces and whatnot, they won’t be put out while underwater.

He doesn't, but this is a good tip for people watching this for tips of their own. (though a good tip would also be don't follow his build. I tried to, n somehow he had way more points than he should. Even though I was a level above him (my guy is lvl 92, I screenshot his stats when he was lvl 91) I still only managed to copy his oxygen and most of his movement speed before I ran out. Yet somehow he has enough points to do that, and more, not to mention his weight limit of fucking 7 million

@@Trojianmaru that's because he's on a server that boosts stat points when leveling up. so one level up on that server could possibly give like, 50 points into the stat he decides to level. while on single player, its MUCH more reduced unless you mess with the settings to match the server he's on. Different servers have different settings, he's on one that boosts the stat increase from leveling up by a lot it seems. It's to make the PvP servers more fun to play and not as challenging than normal Ark. Also, if you watch the part where he mines metal, he seemed to get like around 500+ metal from a rock that isn't fully yellow, since the fully yellow ones give more metal. So the server he's on is boosted by a lot. Normally, that kind of rock wouldn't give as much. Well for me at least, I play single player only and solo, unless my friend decides to play and we make a dedicated server with just us two. but even then we won't get as much since we don't boost the server as much as some PvP servers.

With the generator being on while it was underwater you think you can place turrets next too it and they be powered? Not on plesi like below or to the side close to gen?

When I do gcm in single player I use moon blocks and you can drain water out, allowing your stuff to work underwater Edit: Tek generators work underwater

@@pavos27 no I mean moon cubes, when you go in Ark Single Player, and go in GCM cause I normally do, type in Moon and you get vacuum cubes and wedges which I call moon cubes

@@Tuva0 windows and xbox is same servers u need to install ark from the microsoft shop nothing to do with steam and if u have the windows ark ( microsoft version ) when it wipes and servers goes up u just see it in the server list

Hmm I think wc should allow turrets on plesio and mosa, cause they can go underwater, but they are actually much harder to tame than to build a raft, and they also can be killed from distance. That would really make them useful in pvp…
