Born and raised. Left in 91 for Army. Popped in and out for funerals & weddings a few times. Nothin but love for the place. Looks way nicer now than I remember growing up.

I left and went in the Army too. I miss my Dayton, Ohio. I get to go back whenever I have an appointment at the VAMC.

Life long daytonian, born in 63, hard to belive its come to this in 61 years. Ive swore im gonna get out of ohio many times. But dayton is home. And i wonder, why should i leave, isnt that what started this.?.

It's happening everywhere people something is not right here can't understand am in Columbus Ohio housing up cost to much money like 299. And up there no way something going on.

A lot of the places shown here in Dayton look pretty damn nice compared to the rest of the US.

I left East Dayton for the West Coast many years ago, I think the downtown looks great. Very clean for a city of it's size.

I grew up in the Wayne and Wyoming neighborhood. It's always nice to look back and see the streets where I once walked.

I don't see anything so bad. There are a few abandoned houses but that's a sign of the times. I lived in Dayton most of my life and the east side was never paradise but there were some hard working people living there and they did their best to raise their families right.

Well im goin on 47 and i been all over this place . Its been drug infested all my LIFEEE, and you always going to have different views on people places and things . Now there are way more abandon houses then the video could show.

Dunno about some of this. With Intel moving in, a LOT of new businesses are coming in. Marion is seeing a resurgence, and I expect that Dayton could be seeing it too.

My city needs help but honestly it's been that way for years even before I left 6 years ago.

east third street is messed up

Between the drugs and the crime hell you cant even go out and set on the porch for the fear of being shot at your kids cant play out like they use to cause of the cars flying up and down the street like there going to a fier or of being snatched up cause the cops dont portal the streets like they use to its a pity people treat there city like this

When all the big companys moved out the pepole stop careing and then started moveing away the the drugs moved in and the homeless

Where are the suburbs of Dayton ?

centerville, Bellbrook, Oakwood, kettering Miamisburg ,Vandalia are suburbs of dayton

If anything, Bellbrook is a suburb of Xenia. It's closer to Xenia and not even in the same county as Dayton. Thank God.@@davinewear3549

The City Is Bad But Not The Towns In The Dayton Area Like: Yellow Springs, Fairborn, Troy, And Others, I Like Ohio, But Not The Only In Ohio Meme Cause That Meme Sucks

The bad thing is you got all the homeless and drug attics diging throu the trash a breaking in all the empty house's they leav trash everywhere

I lifed on 4th and torrnce st back in the 70s it didn't look nothing like it dose now its a shame that they wont clean it up and bring jobs back

People pill there yards up and cars setting on the street that dont even run the city dont get on pepole the way they use to abot there yards

Ladies change your locks and get a door bar. I think alot of women are getting raped at night there. Try not to eat after 4pm, I think it makes it worse
