the devs completely abandoned the PC VR version of the game sadly. no update last 2 years.@@dsmandrewa

Looks like this has come a long way… remember seeing another KZreadr play this a couple years ago and then just stop so I’m looking forward to watching your series

Crazy thing about these games are how accurate some of the ideas are, I watch a you tuber called primitive skills and alot of the stuff in game is what they do... kinda cool, game looks good.

Definitely looking forward to seeing more from this game, especially if he can combine factors from all three games.

I'm play testing this too. So far, visuals wise, as you can see it's absolutely gorgeous. But when it's raining and you have a fire under the lean-to OR the large shelter, the rain will still put the fire out. Also, the fact that a crab takes like ten hits from the spear and the jaguar takes two spear throws in not realistic. That being said, I still am enjoying it very much so far. I think it's going to turn out awesome when it's released.

this game feels like a crossover of stranded deep and sons of the forest, been playing both of these games lately

Loving the feel of multiple games and their features in this game. Def some forest and green hell vibes with the crafting and the thicker jungle than in stranded deep.

ill give it a go to look at. tho i cant do it myself i wantt o see what you say about the game. im not into the jungle stuff much, cuz i dont have a laptop, but i like watching you play these. you are so good at these games! keep it rockin Edged! thank you for letting us see a new game

Looks very promising. Stranded Deep's crafting and general jankiness put me off. Totally getting Green Hell vibes too.

I'm spoiled by the Sons of the Forest backpack/inventory system. I hope this game improves on that. Would love to see more. Looks promising!

Looks a bit rough around the edges. Hopefully this will be massaged. I wonder if you could use the coconut to get fresh water from the pond and boil it clean if needed? There must be a need for that coconut holding water at the fire. I'll save judgement after watching future GE episodes.

I think the banana trees are considered small trees. They are right next to your camp.

Well, what can I tell: very early mix of "Green hell" and "Stranded deep". I love both so I am waiting for this production. Graphics seems to be more realistic than in "Stranded" though these fights are no better - not natural at all. But this is very early version, I hope it will get better. Looking for progress and maybe demo :)

Honestly, looks like a reskinned/updated graphics Stranded Deep.... good ol'e asset flips. The Forest and Stranded Deep had a baby, they named it "Project Castaway"

Small islands don't have large mammal predators. There isn't enough food to sustain them.

The backpack needs more lighting. I can't see anything that's on it. If the devs are going to put a task list, they should at least make it intuitive so you don't soft lock yourself. Gettinga snack from the medkit should have been the first thing.

In reality if u wanted to keep ur fire going ud make a pit fire under ur shelter itd radiate more heat and lower the fire so as not to burn down ur shelter. Make the fire in a hole and use a rock to cover most of it with a air vent at a angle

You forgot Long Dark as one of the masters of survival games.

Looks similar to Green Hell, looks really promising, hope they keep it up!

Stranded deep game style was incredibly stressful, and I hope that the resources on the island will be replenished over time, and there will be fewer trips to and from island to island

You don’t need a raft to get to the small Island GE. You can swim it, I’ve seen it done. And you need to manually save.

I always tell this to every pc gamer that you need to look at every thing that you can see on the screen. When you're crafting there are other options at the top of the book. Also there is an option to speed craft arrows.

Looks like a mix with Stranded Deep, Green Hell and Sons Of The Forest a little bit all together. Looking forward to see some more 👊😁

I just tried the game and it lasted 20 minutes... The graphics are not bad, but the motion blur made me sick. I hope they do something with this, because it's very confusing that everything is blurry. The sensitivity of the mouse is also quite strange, and the lack of settings is a bit surprising.

Crabs and birds should be one shot kills, the cat should have much more meat and it would be awesome if the little tide pools had fish in them from time to time that get stuck when the tides change.

Funny coconut shells are not naturally fire-proof.

I loved stranded deep but I had a problem with nothing respawned but I loved the game play the building and farming but the not respawned I gave it up do this game respawn the stuff or is it a clone of stranded deep where nothing respawns

kinda looks like a green hell style survival

It looks cool, but why oh why do the make the tutorial so that you can get locked behind an event if you do it before your given the quest? That seems like a basic QOL thing to either give you credit for stuff you did before actually recieveing instructions, or put you on rails for the tutorial so you cant do things out of order.... holefully they fix that. Otherwise its intriguing thats for sure 😊
