It was nice to hear about your dad's former work.
I like that you’re doing an officers perspective. It would be cool to see you do an ex inmate from a higher custody level and an officer together and have them talk together about their experiences. It would have to be the right kind of people who could have intelligent conversation, but that dynamic could be cool.

I’m in counseling and I love it! It just flat out helps. If you’re a man and your ego is stopping you from seeing a counselor/therapist, well, you have more issues than you think.
Your questions are right on!
Ian, thanks for your informative videos. Thanks for responding to me twice. Dpeezy is the man that makes prison food and other videos. Ive seen a few. I just look up the table knock. Very interesting why it's done. Much success, health, happiness, and blessings to all.
Shout out to Carhartt!!! Nice hat! Thanks for sharing your love for Carhartt as they are right here in our sweet little town! Incredible community partner who employs so many folks here in our county and supports so many organizations here. So thanks for sporting your Carhartt Ball cap !!

Dude LOL. His voice is super soothing. He seems like he could also voice act if he tried. So funny. I’m only in the beginning of the video btw 😂
One big thing i always tell newbies when one is assigned to me for ojt is dont just assume your better than the inmates some of these guys just plain screwed up and you could end up here to. Treat them with respect and like human beings and for that you will be treated that way also. Plus it is right thing to do. And do not be petty.
I believe everything until the phone call conversation; I could tell he felt extra police 😮
Ian, have you done your research on the Challenger yet?
In outside clearance in Elmira you have your own gallery but gen pop is literally right above you, I just spent a year there it was crazy the shit going on
People that live all around the Great Lakes area, even Upstate New York, all speak with the "Inland North" dialect.

Did over 25 years, it's what you make of it and of course there's life situations you can't control, IE health and some situations but in this area I saw many work 50 years in a factory retire and pass within a couple of years so what's the difference. Now the system is broken and it's because of the governing bodies that it's tanked. Unfortunately because of the government actions there could be a big blowout somewhere because of staffing and or training!
This guy says you know so many times, I can’t even get through the first 5 minutes
I live in Ithaca. Funny to hear Ithaca a valley lol.
Starting in August at Stillwater state prison just hope I don’t run into any family members locked up
Ian would you become a CO if you can? Any advise from an ex inmate for rookie CO

Broooooo!!!! Take it from someone who’s been here from the start your interviews are starting to feel more and more shallow. You have 85% of this one which was completely generic questions, which yes are completely unavoidable and HAVE to make up a portion of any interview but should be more like 15%-30% of a perfect interview. Very few of your questions actually built off of the interview as a whole and what was said previously. On top of the unrelated, basic, questions you also stayed on the top layer the entire podcast where this podcast didn’t seem different than the majority of your other podcasts, you could’ve dropped this at the end or beginning of another recent podcast and they would’ve flowed almost seamlessly. Please make an attempt to get deep in the convo and build the conversations in a way that’s unique to your current discussion, podcast, and guest. Love ya bro and keep up the hard work just allow let the increased volume and subscribers to make the podcast more generic and take away the unique flavor of each episode.

I don’t see anything wrong with what Clips said. I also thought some of the questions were very basic while I was watching the interview. It doesn’t allow for a guest’s unique story to come out when everything is just surface level
