Hey owl loved the video! I figured I'd give some tips if you'd like to read. -when in an unknown area if you go into your senses and look around it will fill up the small circle at the bottom right when that is full dots will fly across the screen follow that and it will lead you to the white circle. -elders don't get scared of new area's meaning that you can travel through all different areas with out getting scared. Although you don't gain experience because you are not discovering them. -You can swing on the leaves at the top while falling through them hold X (or jump on what ever your on) -Discovering new landmarks gives you a lot of experience when you go to evolve. -When you kill an animal if you bring a rock to the corpse you can butcher it and begin to eat the meat slowly evolving your stomach. -When eating and drink a green circle will pulse through your health at the bottom when that stops it shows your monkey is full. One more which I don't think you'll like or is not really classed as a tip. If you are killed in the middle of the cutscene your monkey isn't dead yet so if you exit to title screen and join back you'll be sent back in time about 3 minutes!

to evolve your omnivorous ability it needs to start with a mutation then eat mushrooms, eggs, anything with white meat, and meat from mammals to evolve it. it takes a while and in total you will need 3 mutations to become fully omnivorous. Just went more in depth from when he said " When you kill an animal if you bring a rock to the corpse you can butcher it and begin to eat the meat slowly evolving your stomach." Good Luck!

Really glad to see this game becoming more popular, when it first came out I was obsessed with it and cause of your videos I've picked the game up again and I'm not regretting it, mostly, this game is brutal XD

In the unknown bits, you need to discover things around you to conquer your fear

im a little late to this but if you get 2 basalt rocks and hit them together it makes a sharpener for tools and it makes creating sharpened sticks so much easier. its like 15 or so hits with a regular rock but makes it like 6 hits with the basalt sharpener. And you can also use it as a weapon I would also recommend to keep one with you at all times so you can easily make another weapon while on the go. It makes life so much easier Also the black smoke is a meteorite. It gives any babies a mutation if they dont have one, so dont explore them unless you have all of your babies that dont have mutations with you.

You can travel fast if you do multiple swings on the upper trees by using the leaves. Just gotta be holding the button while you fall to grab them. I've crossed a lot of land fast by doing this, just be sure to be full on the red leaves so if you miss a grab you won't break a bone. Only thing stopping you is your stamina. You can become an omnivore by consuming enough meat, eggs, and mushrooms and developing a mutation. You'll have to evolve with that mutation in order to set the omnivore status up.

Basically you want adults and elders with mutations when you evolve (or the mutations are lost upon death) and a lot of growth/experience with exploration and neurons like you said. Looking forward to seeing this clan grow further!

Owl time i love ur stories can give u tips with animals im good at making them go away so first when u don't have a weapon in hand don't go forward to the animal because it gets u hurt instead look another way where the animal is not charging and hold space bar then when u hear the little thing and see ur screen is kinda greenish around let go and u will get out of harms way keep up the good work I can't wait to see learn more about the game

The thing people don't understand about this game is that you have to play like you ACTUALLY WANT TO SURVIVE. Of course that's also the cool part about this game, it's like the devs tailor made it to kill players who lack a healthy degree of caution.

When you enter the unknown zone, there is always a white orb of light. When you reach it, you no longer fear the area, for you have conquered the fear and discovered the unknown. Then you can go and explore to your heart content.

If u use ur sense in the unknown it will give back sanity bar sniffing is best and hearing u should also use the senses more in general u make me wanna get back into this game
