I love pharmacy! I thank God for being exposed to learning pharmaceuticals for 8 years and being a tech then becoming nurse. I emphasize that pharmaceutical knowledge is critical in nursing practice. To have a solid understanding of medications serves a crucial foundation for nurses, helping to prevent errors and ensure patient safety. Thank you for this video 💗
I love patho and I was a pharmacy tech for 5 years and hope that it can guide me through my semester next month. I love the video
I haven't survived Advanced Pathophysiology yet, but I'm surviving so far. I just took my midterm and I have an 88.9 in the class. I think what's been helping me the most is doing practice questions. I also like David Woodruff's KZread videos. They basically go along with our chapter summaries from our book almost word for word. So, I take notes while listening to him.

Hi! Where did you find practice questions
Thank you for the tips! I'm about to start advanced patho, its my first semester of PMHNP school! I so appreciate the study tips. I know this is not going to be easy, but I remember having fun learning in nursing school. I expect this will be difficult and fun at the same time!
I’m suffering through pharm!!! Thank you for this!
I’m on the fence about taking pathophysiology with pharmacology before entering the nursing program next year. It’s offered at my university. I think it’ll be fun.
Khan Academy, Osmosis, Speed Pharmacology, Medication Tables (Create in word)
Man this was so helpful. I’m only in my second week of my program and pharm and the imposter syndrome is kicking my butt.

I feel ya! That's how it was for me and my classmates too but you can get through it!!
Thank you so much for this! I already got the advanced patho out the way. I started advanced pharm yesterday, wasn’t sure how to study for it! 😩

I listened to Katy Connor on KZread and trust me, she has videos on all the systems and it’s very explicit. She also uses mnemonics, she’s wonderful!
Thank you for the info! Im takinng advanced patho in a few weeks so trying to prepare now. What is the first resource you mentioned? Was it khan academy?
Thank you for the informative video! I got a little confused when you were talking about how it would be better to create your medication table. You created it in Word correct?
@InMyLayne
Жыл бұрын
Yes! I just created a table in Word that had the name of the medication, mechanism of action, side effects, and anything else that I thought was important!
what np school did you attend?
Please share your pharmacology notes❤
Did you go to online school? How did you study for the boards?

My school was hybrid but all of my diagnosis and management classes were in person. I just released a video about how I studied for boards and will likely publish a few more surrounding boards soon! Hope it helps you!

How did you take it with pharm ? Where you working full time?
@InMyLayne

It was a crazy ride taking both of them together but that's how my program was set up! At the time I was a full time inpatient PACU Nurse working 3 shifts per week
