I am a woodworker/site super working in one of the wealthiest areas of the US. While the houses in microscopic sterile perfection remind me of 5 star prisons, yours is far more perfect for a human.

Surviving a wild night in America's last Wild-West town sounds like such an exciting experience! Love every moment of this adventure.

Tim, what you are doing by notifing subscribers of a coming video is not helping. What it does put an alert on our list of subscibed channels that looks like a new video has. Then we open your channel only to find out it's an upcoming video, but not yet a viewable video. The alert the video is available warning goes away and miss viewing your video when drops. Solution: don't alert us to videos untill we can actually view them.

You work sooooo hard Timmy, it is no wonder your back protests now and then! I must say we enjoy you and your buddies, you guys (and gals) do have fun! My, your cabin is looking gorgeous! You are really moving along now. The rock walls, counters, wood stove and rock floor really make it pop. The couch looks sweet-I can see you and your band mates enjoying time together..the wood stove crackling, lasagna in the oven, cold beers all around….ahhh it will be sweet!

I remember McCarthy on that Discovery channel show “Edge of Alaska” and I remember the old guy (I think his name was also Tim) who lived in cabin next to the mine and he said not only was the mine haunted but he would be hanging out on his front porch in the dead of winter and he was the only person who lived on the mountain and there would be people waving to him in old clothing from the windows of the mine - pretty crazy

love love your house it is so beautiful. Coming together so good can't wait to see when it's all completed. I have a couple of questions, first off imb69 yrs old so don't understand the music you played. Where I'm from I'm use to rock and roll, country, there's more but that's the 2 I mainly listen to like the good old oldies for me. Anyway was wondering what kind of music you play cause it could be my phone or ears but it sounded like every song had the same kind of beat. Also your habd/fingers have got to be so darn tired and sore from playing so fast. Just had to ask. Also maybe sometime you could share more on that I think river that you said it will burn your hand and I thought the other guy said something about it would just take you under. So I'm really curious to hear more about that. Thank you and have a good weekend.

Hi Timmy, I dont know if you will read this but id like to tell you that I really enjoy your videos and I just subscribed to your channel. You inspired me to do something I always wanted to since I retired 3 years ago and that is to build a rig and just travel around until i get too old to do so. Im going to start looking for a rig next spring and hopefully have it finished before the middle of the summer. I used to live in Anchorage and still have friends there and I hope to get up there next summer. Keep the videos coming and stay safe out there!

Your going to have to hang that nail gun on the wall as a monument to the tool that built your house. Lol. The build seems to be coming together quickly since the floors were installed. It all looks amazing. It would be cool to see a video of the entire build on fast forward and a cost breakdown of what a person could possibly build on a budget, ofcourse with some very good friends to help. Timmy, you remind me a lot of me when I was your age I moved to Alaska from Colorado when I was in my 20s landed in Anchorage moved to Homer Eagle River. I’ve been to Garwood. I know the area but your KZread channel brings a lot of those memories back to me coming from Colorado I had more energy and more oxygen than I knew what to do with and I was a hell of a lot stronger when I was in my 20s than I am right now in my 70s keep up the good work. The house looks incredible Timmy. Even the smallest part of finish work makes a big difference. The couch looks nice, and it worked out really good around the window. Almost looks like you ordered it to fit around the window.

The bridge reminds me of Letchworth State Park railroad bridge except that it's now blocked off from pedestrians. Great video! The house is unique and beautiful with it's mix of colors, wood and stone, you can truly call it your own! 🌞

House looking great! I’m from KS and come up every July for the last 5 years to see my sis and fam. We camped, rafted, hiked and hung out in McCarthy and Kennicott. It was absolutely amazing, to say the least! I leave in 2 weeks to go back!! Can’t wait! Take care!

Great way to relax watching with my foot up after surgery ( removal of bunion on my big toe)....Thank you for the distraction!! Brought back so many memories of my trip to McCarthy and the mine. We even stopped at the same bridge over the gorge. The road in and out was probably the longest and roughest road I've ever been on. You can always find a nice rug to come out a little from under the couch, it would cover the scratch and look nice.😊

Use the sink cutout as a cutting board that you can fit to fit back into sink for prepping meals. Easy to control where scraps go, plus continuous grain pattern

You can also get an extension chain for your ceiling fan so you can reach it where ever you need. I have tall ceilings in my house and had to get an extension so I could actually reach without a ladder.

Your band was jammin! House looks so dope with the couch and counters coming along. I'd pull that couch out from the wall a bit. A light behind it on the floor pointing up would look sick.
