Strick is back for a new Survival Challenge Series! He's re-visiting different survival stories while travelling up the remote stretches of the Great Barrier Reef. There's tales of heroic survival against all odds, and some tragic endings... Join him in the exact location of these scenarios to test his own survival skills and share their crazy stories.
I make a huge mistake in this one! This is a Survival Challenge which almost ends in real life tragedy...
Complacency got the better of me in Croc country and I almost came unstuck... I wasn't sure if I was going to release this footage because I feel like a bit of an idiot. But hope that it might serve as a reminder for others to not make the same mistake I did.

Hey Strict, I think you have discovered a gem here. There are countless KZreadrs doing survival videos. However, telling a real life survival story in the exact location is super fascinating and brings the reality to survive straight home. I would watch as many as you could post. Super interesting! Great job mate!

Yes mate! This reminds me of the old Ray Mears survival story episodes. I think he did a very similar episode about an aussie WWII pilot that ran out of fuel and had to crash land in remote coastal northern Australia. That style of survival show was so good! He also used to show the native people's ways of living off the land, which is basically always the best source of info. Thier knowledge almost always turns a survival situation into a 'I might just stay here a bit longer' situation. I imagine there was probably a lot less useful plastic crap on the beach back then though :)

We can see why crocs are apex predators! Careful and camoflauged in murky water, just waiting for any prey to venture too close to the water's edge. Thanks for the adventure, Jack!

Dude, seeing that croc head when you turned back around you never saw or heard anything and tbh that head was so still I might have walked right back up to it. This just proves i'd be dead stuck in that area.
