Strick is back for a new Survival Challenge Series! He's re-visiting different survival stories while travelling up the remote stretches of the Great Barrier Reef. There's tales of heroic survival against all odds, and some tragic endings... Join him in the exact location of these scenarios to test his own survival skills and share their crazy stories.
I make a huge mistake in this one! This is a Survival Challenge which almost ends in real life tragedy...
Complacency got the better of me in Croc country and I almost came unstuck... I wasn't sure if I was going to release this footage because I feel like a bit of an idiot. But hope that it might serve as a reminder for others to not make the same mistake I did.

Hey Strict, I think you have discovered a gem here. There are countless KZreadrs doing survival videos. However, telling a real life survival story in the exact location is super fascinating and brings the reality to survive straight home. I would watch as many as you could post. Super interesting! Great job mate!

People talking about how this is not real survival instead of enjoying the beautiful adventure .. smh. Thanks for sharing Strick, amazing as always!
He's stalking you at the same time you are stalking him. 😂
Thanks for posting this episode, even with the moments of complacency 😊. Definitely still a learning experience. Appreciate these survival challenge episodes 👍

My heart was racing as well from that crock!! Glad you didn’t meet again! Love the history you shared! Thanks for great episode! Cheers from Arizona 🌵
I am loving this! Unlike all the other survival KZreadrs this feels different. Its actually supwr remote, there are real dangers...both are not needed but increased the quality in a way...but most importantly it is tied to a story, its in the exact location...just so different from all the other content
Great vid!! When the croc thing first happened I heard a Quack. I jumped a mile in the air before I realized it was a swear bleep - I would have quacked like a flock. You are a brave man. Big respect from New Zealand

Used to get these types of survival/story series in the uk (Ray Mears) absolute delight to be able to watch the same type of thing many years on, on YT. As many have said keep these going!
Strick i spend a lot of time watching australian survivalists its effectively my job and i can now say that when you make videos like this and the last they are the best
You remind me of watching Macolm Douglas as a kid in the 80's. Good times then and now. :D PS: Greetings from Austria. Yeah, the one with cows, not kangaroos. ;)
I like how the water in the plastic clear bottles have nothing growing in them 😑 I call Cap brother 😅
Yes mate! This reminds me of the old Ray Mears survival story episodes. I think he did a very similar episode about an aussie WWII pilot that ran out of fuel and had to crash land in remote coastal northern Australia. That style of survival show was so good! He also used to show the native people's ways of living off the land, which is basically always the best source of info. Thier knowledge almost always turns a survival situation into a 'I might just stay here a bit longer' situation. I imagine there was probably a lot less useful plastic crap on the beach back then though :)
I grew on those beaches you’re on in this video! I used to have nightmare about crocs all the time as a kid. Got worse when a kid from my community got taken by an absolute monster. It was eventually caught. I have a photo of my dad on the back on a truck with its laying across the back. Easily two of him. Crazy!
Sweetie don't forget to pack the water bottles and the fishing lure 😂

@@oosmosmoo That is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. 1. Ocean currents can wash up rubbish to the most remote of islands 2. He literally said at the start of the video that he was doing the challenge based of where that plane had crashed.

The soldiers back in WWII wouldn't have had the benefit of such luck regarding the fresh water. I think it would be better to operate on those lines to keep it closer to their plight at that time. They wouldn't have had the 'benefit' of such refuse wash up on shore either.
Born and raised in FL. Alligators and Crocs are very common on certain beaches. I absolutely love how derpy yet terrifying they are.
