So cool bro, I just finished rewatching the show for another time and saw this post on the subreddit, like I bet some of yall did too. Really happy to see The Wire getting love 20 years later, especially for huge fans of Season 4 like myself. Yall gotta have a big reunion pod all together with Nay, Duke, Mike, and any other fan favorites you can get in contact with like Donut (my favorite from Season 4) or Zenobia. Keep it up Randy!!!

14:00 in (I'm a skater from baltimore) I also went to see Mid 90's in LA at that time. I was feeling separated af and was teetering on moving back to the east coast. I think I made it 2 more months before I moved back.

question for maestro and julito: when you recorded the commentary for the wire season 4, ep. 11 w/ mr. chew (RIP), were you all in the same room or did they patch you in via phone? i've always wanted to know, because you were all vibing together so nicely! also, the whole conversation about john boyega, why some actors get in the room and why others get ignored or cut off at the pass is SO important!!!!!!! i hope you cut that part of the conversation into smaller bits and put it out on multiple platforms. it's a HUGE fact people need to learn about!
