Surron gets better range than a gas bike…

Went out for a group ride on the Surron Ultra Bee with an EWATT 80v Battery and rode with 7 other gas bikes. For the first time, the electric motorcycle lasted longer than a gas bike! To be fair, the gas bike was a Beta with a fuel tank capacity of 2 gallons. The owner has said it's been running a bit rich which did not help with his consumption. Overall, I'm very impressed with the range I am getting with an upgraded 80v battery for the Surron. It's great to see the bike can handle a good long trail ride at a decent pace while chasing the gassers.

Yeah what milage can you get on average with a full charge, thinking of getting either an ultra bee or upgrade my talaria to 72v 50ah or 60v 70ah

Bro I don't know, I never discharge the battery to 0%. I live in the French Alps and generally I ride 60km with more than 1500m height.. Always return with 25-30%

We'll see. It's a slightly larger wheelbase and heavier. Probably between an Ultra Bee and Stark Varg. It'll likely be like the light bee class. Talaria is better stock, Surron is better with mods and slightly smaller.

Looking to get a surgeon for trail/commuting which would you recommend, and would you buy new if you were in my shoes?

personally wouldnt get a surgeon for commuting they dont really have any way of helping you commute

Not the creator , however I would recommend a Surron ultra bee as it can be ridden on trails but comes fully street legal. I would try to buy new because the batteries on electric bikes have a short lifespan and you want to get the most out of your money.
