Me and my family have been there last Feb with $160/night breakfast included. Staying 5 days was awesome. Great breakfast every day. Good value for money. The concept of a resort is typical of Hawaii, Fiji, Cairn, Sunshine Coast, etc. The interior is oldie simple but that is what we like, instead of staying in the room with the sighted manipulation of artificial plasticky wallpanel.

Typical of Indonesia as well, Indonesia isn't only Bali

Sependapat. Back yard landscape kurang didesain maksimal. Proporsi hardscape, softscapse, juga 'lapangan' rumput yg menimbulkan kesan emptyness, mungkin disebabkan karena layout block massa bangunan. Landscape Grand Hyatt sangat baik jika dijadikan referensi oleh desainer hotel ini.

Wah sepertinya kakak seorang arsitek/designer juga ya, istilah2 nya sudah sangat arsi sekali 😄 Seakan mereka sudah sgt niat mendesain lobby dan bagian room2 nya, terus entah karena deadline/dananya habis, bagian landscape ke pantainya seakan “yaudah itu dibiarin saja lah, yang penting jadi 😄” (typical government project 🙃) Tapi resort ini punya potensi, dan ada bbrp upcoming Meru hotels yang I look forward to visit

One more question... is it possible to book a regular deluxe room (upstairs with no pool access) in building 7 facing the resort/ocean?

Hi again. Yes, of course it’s still possible. What you have to do is to write your request when you book. But as I was told when I stayed there, it’s quite hard to guarantee guest’s requests 😄

Which one you more prefer Merusaka or New Grand Ina Bali Sanur, i am still looking place for stay on Oct for our vacation, thks

Hi again Pearl. Hmm tough question, each has its own pro & con. Design-wise, it's the new Bali Beach Hotel without a doubt. But value-wise (both in terms of price and facilities you'll get), it's Merusaka

Ohmygoodness... wonderful wonderful wonderful video!!👍 Very informative and easy to follow. The room does look bland and straightforward but the bathroom looks nice. The bathroom seems more modern than the bedroom, I'd say. Any idea how much the romantic dinner costs? Does it have to be booked in advance? Is the menu for the romantic dinner set? Does Merusaka rent out bicycles? Your video made me want to check out Ulam restaurant across the street, and I did. I think my wife and I will go there one night. Thank you!!

Hi Vtivoo, thank you so much for that compliment 🤩 Yes, the bathroom and its bathtub is one of the plus side of the room. For the romantic dinner, according to the website, it starts from IDR 2,6 mil, more details can be found in the website. And I suppose they have a bike rent (but I couldn’t easily find the kiosk when I stayed there). I hope you have a very nice holiday 😊

@@travelwithdesign Would you please review the Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua, Padma Ubud and Mulia Resort Nusa Dua? My wife and I will be staying at those 3 hotels (plus Merusaka) next Spring. I don't mean to be egotistical 🙂- it's just that your videos are very comprehensive and seem trustworthy.

Please make sure you let us know who the architect is (like you did Merusaka) and show us every single dish at the breakfast place, including dessert (they way you show breakfast at Merusaka). @@travelwithdesign I think the The Meru is one of the most beautiful hotels in Sanur, from what I see in the videos. Especially the entrance is gorgeous.

Dulu htl putri bali terus ganti inna putri bali trus direnovasi jadii merusaka. Sama dgn di senggigi dulu senggigi beach htl trus ganti aerowisata trus kila señggigi skg merumatta. Ini gtoup bumn.

Halo kak Ria. Pantainya aman kok, karena pantai Nusa Dua terkenal akan laut nya yang cukup tenang. Apalagi kalo lagi surut, anak2 bisa jalan2 ke tengah sambil cari kerang2 😊

Hai kak mau tanya, untuk pantainya apa aman untuk anak2? Apa banyak terumbu karang / hewan laut lainnya?
