Not all italian families are like this.. unfortunatrly its the minority, especially in the northern part. If this is what you want you can have it, regardless of where you live. Greetings from italy

@@eej902 Exactly! He has strong affection for his brother and he did not hesitate to strongly express it. Some other men may just casually express such affection even though their affection for their sibling is strong. My youngest brother comes to mind. My immediate younger brother is comfortable with his feelings and also expresses them strongly.

They are also European... European culture is more affectionate, especially in certain countries, like Italy, France, and Spain. Men in many European countries don't have the same taboos about sharing affection or their emotions like men in America. And I am all for it! American men could learn something!

I've never seen a better reunion video than the ones where an Italian is surprised by a loved one. They are so genuinely wholesome.

I never thought I'd be crying over something so wonderful for someone I've never even met, but here we are. The tears are flowing.

Carlo at first said "what the fuck" lol "Che cazzo" and then he kept calling him "my dear/tio mio" and saying my God"/dio mio and saying "how wonderful/beautiful" "che bello" and at one point his brother said "it's cold" I think lol but I would love to know what they said to each other. And I can't understand the whole sentence only parts.

Hi. Italian here. Carlo mainly said “What the heck?! What are you doin’ here? Dear god! It’s incredible. My big brother! My big brother is here! It’s so strange seeing you here! How did you manage to get here?”. Giuseppe said “It was complicated!” looking at Sarah.

In Europe men hug all the time and even kiss on the cheek to say hi. Don’t know where you from but it’s very normal.

I was privileged to grow up as a teen in Italy. My neighbors and landlord were genuine people that embraced you when you embraced their culture. They were openly honest and friendly even to this American that spoke limited Italian. Italians are genuine. I remember helping my next door farmer harvest his grapes. We spent the whole afternoon harvesting and crushing grapes. At the end of the day, we sat down at their dinner table. We all received espresso and some of the vino from the previous year. It was reward for our help and thanks for being a good neighbor.

I love Carlo and Sarah , there’s no ott stuff for socials they just seem like a wholesome family as families used to be. I was having a really bad couple of weeks this made me smile and cry for Carlo and Giuseppe what a lovely surprise ….
