SURPRISING FRIENDS and FAMILY after 3 YEARS | They did not believe their eyes

Coming home unannounced after 3 years of travel .
So last year I came back home after traveling the world for about 3 years.
I told my Friends and Family that I would stay for at least one more year in New Zealand, while actually I booked my flight ticket home to give them the surprise of a lifetime.
When I first started traveling, at that time with my Ex, We intended to travel for a short time, but I never imagined to be away from home for so long, especially since I was always a family guy.
I have seen the most beautiful places on earth, but the most special by far for me has been New Zealand, I decided to start living here, so I found myself a house in Queenstown and job at one of the highest cliff jumps of the world, I fell in love with the crystal clear waters, the incredible mountain ranges and the fresh air.
I Made friends from all over the world and cherished every moment I had.
But 8 months into covid my visa couldn’t be extended, so I decided to have one last road trip around New Zealand, I took my drone and my camera and made this little short film about my trip, and take you with me at the moment I finally seeing my family after so long .
This whole trip changed me from a little boy in to a man, I had so many experiences from being chased by Thai clans to seeing volcano’s erupting. I had a lot of good times, but also many bad times where I felt alone and scared. But in the end, I learned from all of it and became who I am now.
For me this is just the start and I will keep expecting nothing and enjoy everything that comes my way.
I hope you enjoy this short film.

I lost my Dad 4 years ago. I come back to this video from time to time to try and capture the feeling of my Dad's love. Sometimes time does not heal our wounds. I'll never feel my Dad's hug again. Spend as much time as possible with them. There will be a time that you wish that you just had a few more years, minutes, and seconds.

@Sweet Sunshine The funny thing is it all has to do with the person you are. Some people move away and are not really missed. But then you have to wonder by whom? And why is that? Who these people really are? Here you see a family of immigrants as far as i can tell. So what does this mean in this case and why? If i'm being honest and i'll get hate for that immigrants have the worst personalities i have ever known. And i'm talking about all immigrants including immigrants i know from MY country that leave to go elsewhere. In my experience they are very selfish personalities.

@Sweet Sunshine No you are the one generalizing out of fear. I'm saying what i mean and who said anything about USA (a country of only immigrants) If you have anything to add out of personal experience say so if not don't I'm tired of cowards and stupid conversations.

You will brother. Seek God, our Father in heaven, He loves you like this, moreso actually even though you may not believe in Him, He still loves you and is waiting for you to reach out and would grieve if you rejected Him and lost your life. Your new christian family would envelop you like this because we are brothers and sisters in Christ. Need to make sure they're for real though, many claim to be christian but do not have the love of the Father in them. Real christians and you would feel like this, please trust me, love you.

There are plenty of families and people that can behave like this and can also be the most divisive and the opposite and it is often cultural. Not to say that about these people at all - but look at all say, the Mafia films that depict this kind of thing - but then later might be feuding and also, in Arabia culture, this lets say, outpouring expression, what is happening in the brain chemicals when this happens ? Is it about gratification or substance ? Human beings can be often very contradictory, appearances are deceptive, this has been a trait of humans for a long time. Again, not to say it is the case - but depth of 'care' is something different to moments of dramatic expression.

My father moved away from Germany in 2018 and he won't be coming back. I lost my mum to cancer in 2020 before the pandemic. I remember telling her on her deathbed that she could let go, that she didn't have to fight anymore. She should finally get her peace. (A fight against cancer that lasted 20 years) In the beginning I was lifeless and didn't know what to do. Now 4 years later I am living my life but the pain that is deep inside you never goes away. The first thing I immediately missed was just calling. To talk to someone who simply listens and, if necessary, has the best advice there is. When I watch this video I am happy and at the same time very envious that I will never experience something like this again in my life. The love of a mother or father is irreplaceable. The thing I want most after 4 years is to receive another hug. Thank you for the video. You made me laugh and cry with it.

I traveled for a year and in my country, people usually don't show their emotions, it is considered unconciously as weak in our brains. We slowly evolve into showing more and more emotions, which is awesome. Emotions are what makes us human and not showing them, only makes us not knowing how to deal with them. So we get depressed wondering why those emotions come up, thinking something is wrong with us. My mother was the only one crying at my return. Neither my father, sister, brother nor grandparents cried. They were all quite happy but seeing this video and how even your aunts, cousins and uncle started to cry, when you returned, made me cry myself because its such a beautiful connection I wish I would have myself with people in my life. Whatever you do, keep doing it, keep being you. You're definitely doing things right. I'm really envious in a good way. I want that in my life, so thank you for making this video. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to cry and keep doing videos. You have a talent for it.

I am 20. I'm from Russia, I went to the Czech Republic and I haven't been home for 3 years. I went for a better life, but lost most of myself because of... well, everyone understands. I got married, I had a son, but his grandmother (my mum) never saw him, my father died shortly before I left. All this is not to evoke feelings of pity. I am truly happy for this guy, his family and friends. Only by losing something can we realise the value of it. And anyone who can still make a difference, be more with their loved ones, has the greatest happiness. Thank you for such a heartfelt and soulful video.
