He is a great son. Our mother should always be treated like a queen. You made her so happy but she was tickled.

You so blessed to still have your momma. My mom used to make these for us. She put a little lemon in hers sometimes. She had 10 kids and we thought these were the best, warm, out the oven, with a glass of milk. Growing up in Arkansas, we just thought it was such a treat! Thanks for the memories and RIP to my momma. She was the best!

_I see why my Mom used to bake “Tea Cakes” anytime she wanted, they are so easy and I loved them growing up. Our Pastor and “1st Lady” would drop by and my Mom would whip these cookies up in no time. She would take out her “special” Tea 🫖 Set and place the cookies on her “special” tray and serve her visitors😊. My Mom loved to serve. Thank you “Chef👨🏽‍🍳Jeff” - I love anything that reminds me of my Mother_

I love the way you cherish your mother. These Tea Cakes look delicious. A pot of coffee, a couple of Red Links, a throw blanket, and these Tea Cakes are the perfect way to watch the sun rise 🥰😋😍. Blessings 💖🙏🏾

The love you have for your Mom reminds me of how the simplest things we do for our parents means the world to them. Both my parents are with the Lord now and this video brought back precious memories for me. My dad loved my cooking and would light up when I would take him a plate of food, I miss doing that. My mom lived with me before she passed and we cooked for each other our signature meals,it blessed her to be able to get in the kitchen and cook. These are the types of memories that flood your heart when you miss them. They will not be with us forever so we must enjoy them and bring them joy now while we can. The joy your mom expressed for her teacakes brought tears to my eyes. thank you for sharing❤

I’m so glad your enjoying and taking care of your Mother now and you won’t have any regrets. We lost my Mother unexpectedly at 57 and there was so much left we wanted to do for her. Our Mothers are so precious to us and we need to let them know every chance we get.

Ohhh my goodness your Mama reminds me so much of my own Mama. She loved me to cook her favorites. She passed in 2011. I was lucky to have her for 46 years so you do just what you said spend as much time as you can. I took care of mine the last 4 years of her life. It was hard but I wouldn’t change a thing. ❤️

Chef since your mom is diabetic a good flour alternative is almond or coconut flour. I’m gluten-free because it bothers my joints and I like to use a lot of rice flour products. But the almond and coconut flours have a low glycemic index and are a great alternative for mom 😁.

I'm not a diabetic, but, I surely agree! I use almond flour in a lot of my recipes, just because it's much healthier, it tastes great and I love the texture in baked goods😁❤️!

She reminded me so much of my mom it brought tears to my eyes I really miss her❤️. She even talk and behaved like her.
