They should have returned the Anomalies to Battleground instead, with Duos and Buddies it would be fun.

agreed - I would love to see the return of buddies be shook up a bit by mixing in other mods - a week of anomalies a week of quests etc....

Personally, I think 'Your Eyes Betray You' should turn cards diamond or even into alt-art cards if able, give folks the chance to see such cards in action, thus encourage them to try and get them permanently for their collection.

I wish the anomalies were in BGs instead of standard and wild! That was the best part of anomalies, that BGs meta was so fun

What I'm most hyped about is what the new Frost Lotus Seedling flavor text will be. They've been updating the number of "(blossoms in [X] expansions)" ever since it was released and Perils is when it should finally blossom. Of course it'll probably just be changed to "Really good flavor text.", but still. :)

Anomalies are fun, but in ranked... Well, that's an odd choice. Would be nice if it was another gamemode as other different ideas, but I do not expect anything from hs devs, because they won't do it anyway. Easier to develop fewer gamemodes than split community into pieces.

Thank God at least arena is free from this anomaly mess

Imagine other game modes are hurting this bad (twist) that their idea is to make standard worse just so ppl play or try the other modes

Just play against Pirate Rogue in Wild. You could already die on turn 4 :D My guess is now turn 3?

Already play Cho'gall cause I am Chaos Priest So what happens can both proc or one replaces the other guess we will see lol!

You get both. (100 percent on the first anomaly, usual 50 percent chance on the second)

I saw one on the 30th when I decided to play. I think it's fine for like the last little bit before an expansion. Especially when it seems play rate is at an all time low right now.

I agree 100% about golden Marin, lol. I have most cards golden and Marin has been the odd one out in so many of my decks since he released. Especially seeing as it's a card design someone like myself would insta-craft if possible! It's a long wait to Tavern Pass Level 40...

I like anomalies for like 1 or 2 week in each expansion cycle to make it fresh while we wait for the next content release, anything more than that is bad. i think what they are doing now is perfect specially since they removed the bad ones.

These effects are terrible, because your opponent gets them too ,for example if druid draws an extra card each turn he ramp ,while mage with the mana cheat end hou faster

Is it too hard for Blizzard to make it optional? Ask two players if they want anomaly or no, then 50/50 it if one side wants it. Its not fun when some random anomaly cause you to lose, and feels unfair if you win because of it.

Anomalies are fine, as long as you can opt out. I really dislike having this "fun" be forced.

speaking of chogall twilight chieftain, the golden version does not create golden anomalies. but the lazy clueless devs couldn't care less to ever fix this bug since it's not a meta card. this is a complete waste of dust, as i only play fully golden decks. add this to the million other reasons i'm proud to never give this game a single penny.

It's such an awful choice to have it in ranked. The idea itself is fun but as a separate game mode - not a way to disturb your efforts to climb the ladder.

This actually a really cool way to get people to play before the expansion launch. At that point the meta's gotten pretty stale and most people would just wait for the expansion to launch.
