Surprise Sue Earrings - Beaded Earring Tutorial

In this video Kelly will be showing how to make the Surprise Sue Earrings. These earrings are quick and fun to make and can be made by any beader with basic stitching experience. This earring is made with two drop brick stitch. To make these earrings you will need:
*3 Grams - 11/0 Delica Color A
*2.5 Grams - 11/0 Delica Color B
*6 - 3mm Bicones in Color B color
*12 - Size 15/0 Seed Beads
*7 yards of your favorite beading thread
*Size 12 Beading Needle

Tension is your biggest issue. Mine are very tight because I have a very tight tension

Could this have been done in the opposite direction? Like starting with the middle, the widest point & narrowing to the top?

Sure. If you do it that way though you have to do a decrease for every row and the edge lines don't come out as clean as starting at the bottom.
I don't have a 4-pound thread, can I use 6-pound?. Or is 6-pound to thick for this project?. 🤔🙂

sure. You may see the thread between the bead rows but yes.
