I went through a similar thing. It made me start having panic attacks for the first time in my life, that would last 3 to 4 hours! Went to the er twice thinking I was having heart attacks. Ended up on anti depressants for 5 yrs and just experienced the most heart breaking betrayal I could ever imagine. My family who I looked up to and trusted. I'm sorry you're dealing with that! Pile 2 resonates, thank you! I got rushed out of the family home along with my husband and child. My mother forced us to leave, we literally had nowhere else to go....then my auntie tricked my grandfather who has dementia to give her his house although his wish has always been for the house to be shared by all of us. She tricked him into signing documents which he thought were just bills and without him even recognizing her because of his illness. He had not realised what was happening. It's been just over a year now, she's got the key to the house and already making changes there and my grandfather, she sent far away in elderly people home and never visited him since, not once. I can only hope that God steps in for justice...

My uncle went behind our family's back and had my grandma sign papers while she was sick and ended up draining our entire family's inheritance - they did this over a decade ago. Recently my grandparents died and the truth came to light and thanks to my aunt, we are getting slowly repaid by my uncle over the next 20+ years... but it always feels like it is up in the air and that things could change at any minute. Essentially my aunt has him by the balls and if he dies or misses a payment, we will have rights over basically anything and everything he owns. The sad thing is that personal items from my grandparents were also taken by my uncle and the rest of our family lost restored vehicles, jewelry, handmade blankets, etc.
