Keep going, and take each day as it comes. I hope you get to a point where the cravings become a background noise rather than it being overwhelming. I know addiction is something you struggle with all your life, but I hope the strength you have that helped you quit and is allowing you to stay clean is always constant.

I'm so used to people havin a negative 'once a junkie always a junkie' attitude about and around me so it means a lot to hear nice words instead. I was on 200 pound crack a day and 50 heroin stopped Xmas Eve and ain't looked back. I not gonna pretend iv not wanted it and been close to giving up but seriously that's why I really hope Lydia sees my comment cos every time I get a craving or sit and think about the past I put one of her videos on and it spurs me on and really does motivate me. I owe her my life really however mad that may sound to some I really do feel that way xxxx

Yes it’s true.. all animals especially cats and dogs can sense a person’s aura. Animals will come close to you if you have an angelic aura.

I learned a while ago that the best way to get out of my own ego and sadness is to "get outside of myself" , check on someone else, be of service to someone else. It gives amazing perspective on your own life and issues and can give you a reprieve from obsessing over our problems and find the gratitude. ❤️

Hi lovely ladies, I was so touched by this comment. As women I think most of us have been affected by another woman’s actions or words. When will we stop hurting our own gender and instead reflect on why we feel the need to hurt or put someone else down. I wish that one day all these nasty, vindictive women have an an epiphany and wake and realise that what they are really doing is projecting all their own self loathing onto others. Lydia you make me laugh, you are real and you brighten my day, you are what I strive to be.

Dear Lidya, I know from personal experience how difficult it is when someone close to you suffers from Alzheimer's disease, when he no longer recognizes you and does not remember anything. I send you all my love and support, just remember the beautiful moments together and it will be easier for you.

For me watching Lydia’s vlogs are always a time for myself- a small in home spa 😊 weather a face mask, pedicure or manicure 💅 it’s always easy to get caught up in the negativity around us, but it’s our choice how we respond and react to it 😉😌

Lydia, I am so sorry you are going through this. I can’t imagine how you feel, and yet you still radiate such positivity. I love waking up to your insta stories of a motivating quote or a picture of your gorgeous garden in the sun or rain ❤️ Please never feel the need or pressure to always be positive with us, we are here to support the good times and the bad!

Hey Lydia! I LOVE watching your videos - I only came across them the end of last year but have now caught up with every single one - watched them right from the start! They’ve kept me going during lockdown! I love how you continue to work on yourself to be the best version of you and how you find joy in so many things. I’ve been watching vlogs/KZread videos for many years and have noticed how the comments section has changed. Back in 2009/10, there was no such thing as the term “influencer” - it was literally just someone who turned on a camera and shared their passions and interests. Nowadays, people hold influencers/content creators to impossible standards. It is seemingly not enough to share hobbies and passions - the person has to have impeccable morals, ethics, habits, personality traits, appearances, opinions...the list goes on. The issue is, what is considered ‘correct’ to one person could be questionable to another. It is fighting a losing battle. Of course, it is very important to be responsible and considerate with a large platform. But there is a difference between responsibility and angelic levels of perfection that no human being can possibly measure up to. I’m here to switch off with a cup of coffee, admire beautiful fashion and make ‘aw’ noises at the cat 😂 I don’t particularly want to be reading a thesis on the environmental impacts of tumble drying when I’m trying to chill out. I think it’s important to be mindful that content creators have a niche and specialism just like any other person with a job and they are not entitled to make a statement about every aspect of their lives.

Hello Lydia 😊! I will pray for you, your Nona, and your family. I appreciate your transparency in sharing moments of pain coupled in moments of joy. You’re human and you don’t pretend to be fine when you’re not. My aunt has a rare disease that is similar to ALS and is currently in hospice. There is so much more that I am dealing with and it doesn’t make me lash out at others. Instead, I encourage and love on people more intentionally when I am hurting. I believe you have more for you than against you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💕!!!!
