This is the best looking one yet. I don't know that I'm convinced to get one, but I'm definitely contemplating it now. I'm so glad this is an addition to the core collection and not a one day hype drop.

Sadly looks are deceiving The bioceramic ages poorly with usage. Even the basic casios with their resin bodies hold up better

I guess others weren't selling that well

When Swatch first released this version, I wasn’t too excited at all. However, walked past a Blancpain shop one day, saw the actual Fifty Fanthoms. That’s when I started to think that Swatch actually made the Ocean of Storms look really good. Looks the same as the actual, just in plastic. Just got mine recently, and am loving it. Definitely not a serious watch. Like all Swatch, be it the moonswatch or the scuba fifty fanthoms, it’s all just meant to be a fun watch. And if you’re not having a good time wearing it, don’t get it. Wear something that makes you happy and feel good. Cheers!

F * * * ! Not happy this wasn’t released at the same time. I feel that the black would have been the first choice of the vast majority, including me. When you live nowhere near a Swatch store, it takes a lot to get your hands on these in-store-only releases. Finally managed to collect the only five MoonSwatches I wanted. Then, also managed to get the only two Swatch Scuba/Fifty Fathoms I wanted by taking a road trip to Vegas and by arranging for a friend to get the other one for me on a trip she took to Tokyo. I’m done with this game now. Never did find a Neptune MoonSwatch in store after a year and finally ended up ordering on eBay when the markup was much less than the cost of a Vegas road trip (insert memory here of Kramer and Newman running the numbers on taking a USPS mail truck loaded with empty bottles to Michigan). Just decided based on this release that I’m going to sell my Atlantic Scuba and the two MoonSwatches I’ll rarely (if ever) wear anyway. I’ll get the new black Scuba on eBay once the price is reasonable and keep only it and the gray/white Antarctic of the Scubas. I’m just never going to seek any more out in-store if Swatch has any new bioceramic collaboration models, and I’m not going to buy more than just one version of any new model. I’ve been collecting Swatches since the first one I purchased as a teenager in 1985, but that first purchase was at a major department store, not a Swatch Store. Also purchased the first bioceramic Swatch model before MoonSwatches were designed and created. But, I’m just done with this in-store-only BS.

I have the Antarctic and I really love it. Now this an all black one is released and I know I'm going to wind up buying it. To make these watches feel even more luxurious the best thing you can do is replace the nato with a nice sail strap. I put a navy blue sail strap on mine and it looks great. I will do a black sail strap on the Ocean of Storms. If you really want to go the extra mile find a Blancpain buckle and add that to the strap and you will have a really great-looking, and great-feeling watch.

Yep. Totally agree sailcloth straps are the way to go for these Scuba/Fifty Fathoms models, and I also have them for all my MoonSwatch models. The rubber-coated sailcloth straps are my first choice for the colors I can find them in. For both my Uranus and Neptune MoonSwatches, I've found that the same royal blue color is perfect. I have no association other than being a customer, but a merchant called FWatchStraps or FinWatchStraps on Etsy has hella rubberized sailcloth straps in different colors (which all come with a deployant/deployment buckle) and also regular, non-rubberized sailcloth straps. Laying aside the Uranus MoonSwatch (for which I've found Royal Blue is the best color strap to use), I think the Saturn MoonSwatch is the most difficult one to match with a truly complimentary strap. I finally tracked down a dark brown sailcloth strap from the merchant I mentioned, and it turned out to be perfect. Tropic rubber straps are the next best option. I ended up ordering two Tropic rubber straps in dark gray for the Antarctic, and while the lighter of the two didn't really work, the darker gray looks killer.

Seems a sort of screw on caseback to me. If you look closely on the differtent pictures, the notches on the caseback are a couple of degrees of between pictures (Check the notches in relative to the crown). On my Ocean of Storms, you can see a verry little gap between a possible caseback and the case itself. Clearly visible with a loupe.

@@AverageJoe84 The GMT Master is also overpriced. Most of the industry is just taking advantage of the fact that the rich now got their money so quickly that they don't value it, and a discerning consumer has been left behind.

it is a nice looking watch but my personal preference would be for it to be on a rubber or leather and be able to change the strap. I like these watches but if they were made with a steel case that would be super cool.

Cool and fun summer watch....400 euro is not cool especially for a non irony version. Original system 51 without collaboration are perhaps better because they do not pretend to be something else. Anyway this is a good promotional way to reboost awareness of brands like Blancpain for the youngsters. Next time Swatch X Longines legend diver ?

After what Swatch did with that Omega collaboration, they've lost all the integrity that they had. Swatch was a "Good" Kid's Watch Brand but then they TRIED to be something that they clearly are NOT and in doing so they dragged the good brands into the mud too. of course, its not ALL Swatch's fault, these "A-Tier Brands" (Omega, Blancpain) are at fault too for risking their "Brand Image" just for a "Quick Buck".
