I was diagnosed with duodenal ulcer in 2018 and have done scopes a few times, can I have surgery because clearly the medication and lifestyle change is not working. I am in constant pain and I am exhausted of the medication especially with being recently diagnosed with IBS-C

Is it better to have a surgery or use a bandaid of all the types of “prazoles “ medication that has tons of side effects?? I have to remove an hernia and since they ate opening my belly, I want to have a surgery too. The Gastroenteologist want me to take medication in order to approve a surgery. It should be my choice and not the doctor in my opinion. I refuse to use medication forever for ulcer

This the main reason I am watching these videos. I am tired of the medication. I was diagnosed with duodenal ulcer in 2018 and have done a number of scopes. I am in constant pain and have to change my diet every second week. I want to know if I can do a surgery because I am so exhausted.
Dr. I really suffered from ulcer it effects worstly my whole life tell me where is your hospital i am living in france i have did some treatment but it doesn't effect
