Amazing Isabella! Nailed all my feelings . We have MDTs in the UK . Fertility Specialist is must and part of the team .. still regularly deliver those messages :)
Fertility specialists and “surgeons” are the same = gynecologists.. so explaining to each other does not make sense… however if the surgeon is not a GYN then in first place he should not operate ans refer to GYN…

we are speaking about a very specific topic, I do not feel that all gynaecologists are at ease with this, because the gynaecology includes now several subspecialties which should speak each other

Thats why in indonesia, endometriosis surgery were included in fertility and endocrinology subspesialist..but their skill of endometriosis surgery cannot be compared with endometriosis surgeon only..who dealt with more and many cases of endometriosis.
