Babar is the right choice for leading the team. He is a recognized batsman, and that is important because it earns him respect which is crucial for a captain. He is certainly no great natural captain, but the PCB can help him learn the stuff. However, this time he should not be allowed to forge any 'roti gang'. Strict discipline and fitness regime must be enforced. Shaheen is simply too young and lacking the required performance (~130 kph pace can hardly impress any batsman). He should focus on his performance. He will get his time. But not now.
