Truly an inspiration to see such successful female surgeons. The 'calling' has never been louder and clearer for me. Thanks very much for giving such clarity Sir.
So m writing this before even starting to watch the video, the title itself makes me feel so validated, now I know that I am not the only person struggling through this!! Thank you sir !!
I was constantly being by seniors about how bad my life might become if I opt for surgery...and I also started doubting myself. But I wasn't able to convince my heart to live without doing surgery for the rest of my life.....and now after watching your video , I am 100% determined to take up surgery n be happy. Thank you so much sir... your video is like a blessing to me☺️☺️☺️

Please also mention about the challenges in taking super speciality as almost everyone is moving towards specialisation. I heard that female surgeons mostly end up in pediatric or plastic surgery , the low workload and low remuneration branches due to work life balance challenges. I know there are always exceptions but broadly speaking.
Thank you for this extremely helpful and much needed video 🙌

I have been going mad in my head for the past month about whether or not I should choose surgery because of all the gender roles that are expected of a woman in India. Being of average built, whether or not I would be able to do well in the branch. This video calmed me down so much . Thank you so so much!

Respected sir, I have a confusion choosing between ms ent and Ms general surgery. I know I will be happy choosing surgical branch. But I haven't had much exposure to ent, so I don't know my inclination. But many girls interested in surgery ,prefer ent ,so I am driven to that. Can you please help me choose between ent and gen surgery? Ent is saturated, gen surgery is hectic . I want to give time for my family too in the future .please help me sir. thankyou

I accept everything they told good work . But having children at 37 years is a bit too much it’s personal choice but when we read obgyni text book what ever disease it might be the cause is age >30 years . Being a doctor having kids that late is lame. Dear female surgeons keep in mind if u want 2 children have them with out any complication or risk . U have lots of time to excel professionally but u have only little time to have babies with out risk to baby’s life and yours . Your actions affects entire family. Choose surgery with out thinking if u are Intrested no doubt women are very powerful but do not keep profession above family both can go hand in hand . Don’t take wrong guidance .
