I surfed some 1 foot waves in Destin two days ago. It was cold, windy and rainy

awesome fun luvd it. You may have already done this, if you get the chance can you remove those old fishing nets that we at the first reef break. They will be a menace to some of the sealife in that area. Cheers John

I also love to discover spots that no one usually rides. My best findings were probably in Rodrigues Island were I just paddled over to the reef barrier and had small waves on a really shallow reef and the left I found in Galle, Sri Lanka, with turtles to keep me company and the astonished locals looking at me riding alone. Oh also riding a 50cc bike along the coast in Da Nang, Vietnam to find the best spot a bit protected from the huge winter swell on that huge stretch of beach.

​@@Town_Country96 Yeah, fuck they always sit in like the little caves to protect themselves from the moving current. 😅😅 I usually don't really surf those spots but that's why I want to get a pair of booties, they don't eliminate the problem but it's less, at least according to a friend of mine😂😂

Watched the whole video looking for this, but it never happened. He falls and lands flat, which is exactly what you want to do in shallow water. You want him to jump off feet first into the reef LoL. Jumping off forward/ head first if you will and landing flat is the safest way to abort. Obviously you didn't think before you spoke 😂

In shallow water the only way to fall is on your belly kind of trying to good with the wave to avoid hitting the bottom. Jumping feet first or landing that way will result in some cut up legs or worse.

I always fast forward the first half of your vids because I know it's going to be full off nothing I actually want to see. Ever thought of doing a different format to your vids like Nat Florence but obviously with your content? Your content is great but the whole flights/ lifestyle thing gets old real quick.
