Hey man, it sure is a very scenic way to fish! This is up north, however yellow fin are absolutely everywhere where you can find a beach with flat terrain and sand banks. Yellow fin will sit around these areas hunting! Goodluck 🙌🏽

thanks mate, we have been up port Hughes a couple times and only got 5 both times and we were there for 5 hours but better than nothing aye ahaha

We call them banana fish or smelt in South Africa. They don't grow as big in your end of the world. We usually get them as a by catch. Would love to come over to Oz to target the whiting

Relief is an understatement 😂 because we didn’t know the spot we were questioning if we were in the complete wrong spot haha
Jordan what size hooks are you using in the name please and did you use a sinker at all? I've been to St kilder last weekend and I didn't even catch any s***** fishes. There was no fish out there at all for me.

Size 8 ocean legacy assists hooks were on this lure! No need for a sinker as the water needs to stay on the surface :) ahh that sucks, try again you’ll get some!!

If you’re using lures something very sensitive around 6’9! A 2500 is ideal too

Any jetty down Yorke peninsula is a great spot for consistent catches 🦑

Try some spots that have a large mass of sand with sand bars. yellow fin Whiting will sit in there hunting
