Nice video. A little pointer to your surfing -- on your front side turns, you should lead with your head and shoulders. You're "admiring your work," looking at the spray coming off the tail, and that leaves you off balance as your shoulders are perpendicular to your hips. Instead, as you start your top turn, turn your head and shoulders to see where you will finish your turn and let your hips follow. This will give you a more solid carve, more spray, better flow, and speed down the line.

Thanks man! Yeah I know I do that, it’s a bad habit and a frustrating one at that. But I’ve been working on it over the past few months so I’m starting to get more power and speed through my turns. Maybe in the next video we’ll see the improvement!!

Hey bru 🤙🏼 we stayed somewhere called 10i Mimosa because we were a group of friends. But all those African Perfection places are really great. If you’re looking for something more on the privately owned side of things, check Airbnb, there are some great places on there too! My advice is to try to stay within walking distance to the beach because that’s essentially why you’re there.

Nice! Looks like a cold water Shipwrecks on the east cape of Baja Sur.

I've always wanted to surf J-Bay although I worry about the crowded lineup being one of the best waves in the world. I see when you went, it was'nt too crowded.

Yeah it can get quite crowded, especially when there’s a good run of swell coming in. But we managed to time it (by luck) that we were there for a second run of swell after a short period, so not as many people were there.
