Jacob is so under rated. Trust me I love nick and everything he does with current joys. But Jacob has an amazing voice. If you haven’t checked out casino hearts/ gap girls you should. Good stuff coming from Jacob.

These guys has an amazing taste in movies and music. The influence of all that knowledge is reflected in the beautiful music they do, even the lyrics are inspired by all the movies they like. I love these guys so much, they are the coolest.

Honestly love both Nick & Jacob , their minds together produce such amazing music! & Heaven surrounds you was easily my favorite album from last year so PLS stream it, you can definitely see the “movie soundtrack” off that album and the transition from song to song is beautiful.

I love their energy, dang adorable gentlemen. Intelligent, genuine, kind hearted. Love them, so thankful to have seen their show of Gap Girls and Current Joy in Vancouver.

Every surf rock band I like seems to do one album in that style and then do something else 😂 I still love Heaven Surrounds You though, and I enjoy the Frights' new albums. The Buttertones might be the most consistent? Their stuff is great :)

@GayDicks420 Surf Curse and Danger Collective made Jarvis Taveniere (Woods) producer on Heaven Surrounds You. Jarvis is an indie-veteran, so he probably nudged the band a bit further from garage rock "indie-punk".

sometimes fun musicians know art and artists that will open your horizons outside of their venue. Love these dudes.

Love this band. Saw them perform at Beach Goth 2016.

Saw these guys in El Paso, Texas in January, and it was fucking epic. They even mentioned the fact that the venue is right below an actual Domino's, and got to be really close to Nick when he climbed to the second level of the venue during Disco. Just amazing. I had to leave kind of early and said goodbye to my friends and then, about half an hour later, they got to chat with them but I didn't. Talk about BAD luck.

7:50 I came here because The Happy Fits, one of the best Indie bands around now, covered Disco - sorry, never heard of Surf Curse before - but when Nick pulls out LPs from Prefab Sprout I knew I was watching the right band. Loved it!!

A small correct ion to Laurie Bird commentary. It was not the only movie she play. Three years later she had small role in drama "Cockfighter" and also some small episode in "Annie Hall" she had something special in Her. RIP.

Thank you Jacob! I thought I was like the only one who shares the same feelings on Easy Rider lol Five Easy Pieces and The Last Picture Show are far superior. I would be ravaging their movie selection if I was at amoeba for one of those. Would love to talk movies with these guys. Good taste.
