Sounds fabricated. If u haven’t seen a Hadith book quoted it’s probably a fabrication which is very common

Did he recite all this in one day? Im thinking whether i should finish juz amma or start on this.

It was spread over three days. You should finish Juz Amma and Juz Tabarak before memorizing other Surahs. After that, probably Surahs like Yasin, Waqiah, and Kahf, unless you're trying to complete your hifz, then memorize the Surahs in order. May Allah bless your memorization!
