Assalamu'alaykuum..
Surah Al Fil is often also referred to as the elephant surah, because in these five verses it tells about how a troop of elephants took part in protecting the Kaaba from attacks by the Abraha.
Since Surah Al Fil only has five verses, it can also be taught to children so that they can read it while performing fardhu and sunnah prayers. So, here are some of the advantages of reading Surah Al Fil:
▶ If you are involved in a dispute or battle, God willing, this surah can give fear and anxiety to the enemy.
▶ Keeps away from evil hands, especially if read during the morning prayer together with Surah Al-Insyirah.
▶ If we read it regularly, we will get help, especially when facing complicated problems.
▶ Allah SWT will give you good fortune.
▶ If it is instilled in children from an early age, it will give them confidence that Allah SWT's help will always be near in protecting His people from evil intentions.
