We're very excited to release the next installment in the Supreme Ruler series, with an updated and remastered game engine and new content!
Supreme Ruler 2030 is a next generation Geopolitical Strategy game for PC, developed by BattleGoat Studios and distributed through Steam.
The game offers players the opportunity to take on the role of the leader of a country of their choice. Nearly all present day countries and regions are represented, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. Players have control over the finances, industries, military, research and diplomacy of the selected country. Gameplay is in variable speed real time, allowing actions while paused for planning and faster speeds to watch the action unfold.
Expanding on past titles, the game includes a rebuilt engine for 64 bit support and DirectX 11 graphics. Improvements for lighting, water and terrain provide a better visual experience. Performance improvements allow faster gameplay. Revised military inventory, research tree, country relationships and heads of state create an entirely new Supreme Ruler experience.

I’m a huge fan of SR for more than 15 years, and this is amazing, I watched all the tutorials and already making some great things for myself! Thank you all so much for this, as it will make the fun last forever (once new game/dlc is out, it will be a new fun then :). One question: How / where to change default starting relationship (diplomatic rating, civilian rating, casus belli) between two countries in Shattered world? I really didn’t want to bother you Chris, but all I could find is one of your posts from 2008, and I didn’t manage the find the necessary files for my current needs. So, just to be clear, I understand that there would be over 100,000 values, but I just want to edit few of them... Also, as this is probably one of the things that is most often changed in real life (today’s enemy could be tomorrow’s friend), I’m pretty sure that many of the people who are modding, would like to make a quick update on relationship between two or more countries, so, maybe a short video on this as well? Many thanks in advance!

Another option when editing existing regional data is loading the original .CVP as well as a smaller one with only your own changes (flag & population in this case), the latter file will overwrite the values of the first file. This way you will get any changes done to the original files updated to yours automatically as well. I'm not sure if you can remove values from lists such as techs and designs added by the original file this way though.

Supernice! Can we do things like this in Galactic Ruler Enlightenment as well?

I do enjoy the games. But I truly, truly believe it's time to dump everything you've done before and start from total scratch on the next game. I've been playing Supreme Ruler for like 10-15 years now, own everyone of them. But they're all the same game, essentially. And that's fine, I can appreciate being efficient, using what you got. I like seeing a game I enjoy being improved upon (though it can be debated every sequel does that....) You're honest about it. Don't nickel and dime us, and that's cool too. And, I do dislike how so many dev's make sequels that just completely start from scratch instead of building on top of the previous title. But at this point it's almost a dozen games in.... and there's very, very few games I've played for such a long time. But I feel even this is coming to an end, for me, personally. Same issue I have with Bethesda. Though, at least you have a valid excuse. Being a small team and what not. It's to the point it's starting to feel archaic. Been there done that, regardless of the improvements, optimizations, and additions etc. Would just love to see y'all try something COMPLETELY new. A totally new, ground up engine, in a different time period, NOTHING reused from previous titles. Keep up the good work though Battlegoat. Just wanted to voice my opinion as a long term fan. I still have the original physical edition of Supreme Ruler 2020.
