The case with the wedding website person, for example - a woman who didn't actually make wedding websites, and who had never been asked to do anything against her religion, got a completely made-up case decided in her favor, because the court wanted to OK discrimination against the LGBTQ. Or the bribery case that just happened - just after the court were exposed for taking bribes (and mostly Thomas, who is as corrupt as it's possible to be), they handed down a decision legalizing bribery.

    So, let’s say the rules are that black people have to sit at the back of the bus: You’re saying that black people should follow those rules because, everyone else does? I don’t think you’re taking into account whether a rule is unjust or highly biased. In the case of Amish beef, unjust and highly biased both apply. They were required to send the beef to the USDA for grading inspection but, the USDA, which was already slow and uses decades outdated grading standards in comparison to Canada, Australia, the UK, Japan, and several other countries in order to prop up and favor big ranch Angus beef sales became terminally slow during the pandemic. If the Amish use higher grading standards than the USD then, the problem lies with the USDA, not the Amish Farmers. In the case of the Amish beef, processing and grading it themselves ensured fresher and better quality beef for the customers.

    Overturning the Chevron Doctrine is much more important for the country as a whole than their ruling about the Jan. 6 defendants. This will force Congress to take back its legislative powers instead of deferring to Executive branch agencies. About a decade ago the federal government had about 19,000 pages of rules that had been published in the Federal Register, too bad most of those rules that exist since 1984 couldn't be declared null and void.

    This shuts down the FAA and their over regulation of Model aviation. Also, it's regulations for full sized aircraft are in jeopardy if I'm reading this correctly. What I'm hearing is that regulations that have the force of law must go through congress. That these agencies can no longer decide to create new laws on their own. They can only enforce the laws and if there is a question on how the law is to be interpreted that is for the judiciary to decide, not the agency. ATF: no longer able to make gun laws on their own. This is great for the American people and Democracy.

  • @jmkqfnvyl87
    @jmkqfnvyl8725 күн бұрын

    Yeah if a statue is unclear that's when the agency petitions for clarification. That's the original purpose for legislative hearings-- to see how the laws enacted are working and get feedback for changes that may need to be adopted. The executive should not be writing or interpreting the law.

    We have accepted things as normal that are not normal at all, in fact it is mostly unconstitutional. Federal agencies make law, called regulation, but it's law. Only Congress has the authority to make laws, not bureaucrats working for the executive branch. Our system of governance has been bastardized to the point of being unrecognizable. Especially federalism. The states are 50 nation-states, the federal government has limited constitutional powers. DC has been centralizing power since Woodrow Wilson, and it has destroyed us.

    Private property is _private property!_ So, if Congress thinks you shouldn't own a _nuclear reactor_ then _CONGRESS_ better get on the ball and do something. As it is now, you can make and _own_ your own nuclear reactor if you want, minus any fuel (since there are laws that prevent possession of radioactive materials). That means the ATF can just pound sand if they want to prohibit bump stocks or 50-ropund magazines. And that's because there are NO LAWS that _prevent_ it! Of course, certain State or _local_ legislative bodies may have _legally_ enacted something, but that's NOT the Federal Government!

    Hey that's jobs jobs there money jobs jobs with money money I said jobs and money and money with jobs that must be applied for and elected to jobs and job types are protected and not at the whim of outsiders or courts say agencies jobs are not provisions of an act so much as votes that have been counted there is no unrolling the work that built many of the jobs and furthermore there is not to be additional pressure to do background investigating about current work and personnel just new ones and I am not hiring people who did not apply and were not voted for regularly about these non job activities that make everything look open without applications without votes no way there are jobs already How many justices attempted to rule on jobs and job types it is a formal matter.
