I recently bought the Roland Street Amp, after watching yours & others busking videos, plus I’ve watch buskers in the UK using them and thought they are good little amp for this specific job. I’ve never busked before, just pub bands and open mic nights. I want to do it for the experience of doing it. I have all the equipment you use except the guitar and strap, I will be using an electric guitar first. I downloaded Birmingham City busking guide for trouble free busking in Birmingham in preperation. To ensure i do I've set a date and told people to make sure I do it.

Great Video. I run an electric Guitar and now starting to use the Roland Cube Street EX. Amazing Amp by the way. I use the same Mic that you have. I have a pedal board with a looper, wah, reverb, delay, and distortion. I'm looking to get a Bluetooth Adapter so I can run backing tracks out of my amp. Overall I have a pretty similar set up to yours.

Hello Tito I’m now planing my first busking

I'm going to start busking this summer, mainly in Galway but I might go on the coach to Dublin sometimes to busk there. I'm gonna get the shure sm58 with birthday money and use the rest of the money for a battery pack for my amp. I'm not sure whether I should busk on my own or with a group. Pun not intended.

I am using a Markie Freeplay amp, a Shure sm-58 I agree best for busking, a mic stand, music stand and a stand for the amp, also I am old so a folding chair and a small folding table, also a smaller amp as a monitor, and I haul it all in a collapsible cart. I am walking distance from my spot. I have a spot in front of the local grocers with exclusive permission been there @ 10 years.

Thanks, Tito! That was very helpful. I am looking for a busking amp that isn't super expensive. I would love to get the Street Cube like you have - but I only see ones for sale at about $269 an up. I was looking at the CoolMusic Amps. Do you have any advice on these amps? Have you played through one? Wondering how the sound quality is. Thanks for all your tips.

hey, i just came across this video after searching for busking set up help. i’m a busker too and i’m having some issues with hearing myself over my backing track due to what i assume is either my voice being overpowered or the frequencies clashing. i notice you have the amp behind your mic and i have mine infront which really could effect how much i hear. do you not get feedback from your mic if you have it infront of your amp? idk if im being stupid but i always thought having it behind would make it squeak. hope you can help, thank you! love your vids :)

If you use a cardioid microphone you will be fine with the amp beside you 👌🏼 bands use microphones on stage and don't have problems with the other instruments. Just don't point the amp towards the mic

Oh bro, this is currently one of my dilemmas. I do EDM busking though. Basically like DJs, except I actually make original tracks on-the-go live. Couple laptops, couple MIDI control surfaces, a portable synth/groovebox, a MIDI keyboard, and amplified 40 watt speakers. And a folding chair. Dilemma #1: "How to pack it all so compact as to fit with me on my moped, and not to have to put things on the ground when performing?" and #2: "Which compact yet powerful electric power source to use?" So far I only came up with 2 lightweight, folding sheet music tripods for MIDI control surfaces, but I'm brainstorming it further.

Which kind of equipment do U recommend? Not so expensive, I mean

What model of camera so you use? Can you recommended something?

What do you do when you have to go the bathroom ? Do you have to pack it all up to do that? Did you say you use a Cort guitar? Thanks for your info Tito.Where are you from? My guess is Spain if I'm right isn't Spain a good place to busk? Barcelona would be nice.

I live in Ireland. When I have to go to the toilet, I bring the stuff with me, or I just end my set and go home
