nah first tried it even the other way (dont ask me why didnt i think that there is a YELLOW plank, totally not for a ball. i just used a glitch where you can do the super long jump by shooting the ball under yourself and jump at the last moment. SmaRt)

FINALLY managed that last coin, using your technique, with a lot of luck, and after sacrificing an animal. Man, I love the game, but not the yellow ball/jump mechanic.

The entrance is at cliffs behind the starting point. I got to it after the final crash. Go left. Jump the gap. Find the crack in the cliff go through it and there is another exit from the cave that goes here.
