Danny Taylor-Smith has always been fascinated with people and their stories. With a degree in film and a 10 year career in videography Danny has been busy capturing other people’s stories but now has one to share of his own.
Danny was born with a rare congenial heart condition and was also diagnosed with Autism. His story of adversity will inspire anyone to reach for their goals, and encourage others to look beyond the labels given. Danny Taylor-Smith has always been fascinated with people and their stories.     Thanks for speaking Danny, that was 100% spot on! My job place experiences seem to mirror yours. And being surrounded by loving and supporting family and friends is so important.

    Having just stepped away from a job because I didn't fit in, this reminded me that my super powers are not a good fit everywhere, but I don't need to take that personally. I will find a good fit faster if I accept that, and move in sooner.

    Very inspiring. What you want in life and how to get it depends on you. How you often think and what effort you put into in under to achieve what you want is all that matters

    Thank you, wonderful talk. I do understand how difficult it can be to find fulfilling employment when you are on the spectrum. I was not officially diagnosed until I was 42, and always had trouble keeping jobs, mainly because of my communication issues.

    What was the valve problem. My wife and young son has it, and 2 of my children are ASD. Hits home soooooo much. I found you via the JBP group. And im an Aussie. TEDx Byford? This isn't Byford Western Australia is it? That's almost where I grew up if it is.

    Yes, this is Byford, WA. The condition is called Truncus Arteriosus. I believe I was missing a different valve. Pleasure to meet you Bryce!

    Man.... I grew up in Oakford round the corner. Went to Byford Baptist Church play group. I need to follow your work. Might have some little clients and or employees for ya in the next few years. I probably seem like a stalker now. Lol
