Great Shave, Great Video. The supply razor has been on my wish list for a while hopefully I’ll find it in Christmas stocking with a few other nice shaving surprises😊. The healing post shave looks like it would be wonderful sprayed directly on the face after shaving for a nice cooling and refreshing feeling.

James, I love this razor. As I've said before, it's now my goto for head shaves. It's that good in minimizing nicks and cuts.

@@MarkSzorady maybe for your skin as I mentioned above you don't seem to have a heavy beard fair skinned or not it looks extremely light. I also want to stress to the viewers this shaver nickS and cuts like any other. The nick stop claim is BS.

Love my supply razor with the new fin guard. Got 21 shaves so far off the black blade. Thinking of trying the supply blades in my schick clone and Parker injector version 2.ill have to take some blades out and put them in a schick type injector key

Wow! It is a great razor. Love it for head shaves.

For the post shave spray, I am very curious how long the scent sticks around. Are you able to compare it to a staple, like lucky tiger aftershave and face tonic?

Hi Mark, I just bought my first Shavng cream from Reuzel made in Holand and the experience of shaving with a cream vs soap is unmatched. I only have trouble loading the brush, so should I follow your approach to load in a bowl instead of dipping the brush in the tub? Thanks again

Those black injector blades are really top shelf. As an experiment you should try pushing the blade to at least 10 shaves. Sometimes I loose count with my total and don't notice any decline in performance.

Parick, I really should. Love these blades. WhenI ordered the shacve cream, I also got some of their White label blades because the Black Label were sold out. So, I may use the White Label next time around to compare.

Just got my Supply SE with Black label blades. First 2 shaves severe neck irritation. Have been using a Safety Razor last 30 days. Beginning to think possibly because I do not have enough lather. I have yet to create that much lather. Apparently i am NOT using near enough water. They say the shaving lather can be used with or without bowl and applied directly to skin? How does that work? Thanks

Update: I believe I have nailed down the SUPPLY shave now. Last few weeks have had ZERO irritation. I have discovered that if I only try a 1 pass against the grain shave, I DO get irritation and maybe even some nicks under the chin/neck area. So I do a minimum 2 pass shave, with the first pass being with the grain. However, not sure If I prefer Supply or just a DE Safety Razor. sometimes I mix it up. Also, I have learned to get that deep lather with my shaving cream!

New to head shaving, and I'm considering this Supple SE or the Leaf Shave Razors. Any chance you might have a comparison video/shave of those 2? Or maybe some feedback on both for a new head shaver? Thanks! Also, subscribed a few days ago when trying to research both and found your videos!

Hi, SerkleK, I'm very glad to hear you enjoyed the video.:) And thanks for subscribing.:) Unfortunately, I do not have a comparison video of those two razors. I've not had the opportunity to try the Leaf razor or their other razor, The Twig. I can tell you what I've stated many times before, when I need to do a head shave and want to make sure I get a nick free result, I reach for the Supply SE. It's definitely my Go To. Yes, I use other mild DE razors for head shaves, but the Supply SE just seems to be one I can shave on autopilot. Their slogan is very accurate, "built like a tank, Drives like a Tesla."

@Mark Szorady thanks for the follow-up! I ended up ordering the Leaf Razor this morning, to give it a try. If I don't like it, I'm going to return it and get the Supply SE! I've been seeing a few videos saying the Leaf Razor is great for head shaves.

I personally LOVE the Supply Brand of their Post Shave Blah spray. I am on the hunt to find an alternative brand to try for experimenting. I see lots of creams/lotion type balms, but I really LOVE the liquid texture spray of Supply. Do you know of any similar products that compare to Supply Brand? Thanks Mark.

4 passes can definitely be done, but IMHO if you cant get a BBS in 2 passes with touchup you find only irritation in a 4 pass shave, regards dapper shaves

James, I prefer mild razors and keeping adjustables on the mild side. Level 6 is a bit much for me. I have attempted higher levels but it's just not for me.

Mark you never seem to have alot of growth when you shave. I am thinking you could get away with cheap bic and get just as good of shaves.

Kurt, I am fair-skinned, so the growth doesn't always photograph as clearly as I'd like. checkout some of my other videos where I have a good four to five days growth. Here's one: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lYJqrLWFhpSbpNo.html I've found that I can get a great shave with the Supply SE after 2 passes. However, due to its mild, smooth, and efficient quality, I can also do a third pass for pure enjoyment without risking any irritation. I'm not sure a Bic disposable would be as forgiving. However, yes, I agree with you that a Bic would give me a good shave in a pinch. It's a good option for a carry-on dopp kit if flying away for a weekend.

@@MarkSzorady I guess and I understand this is a hobby but I think you could spend alot less time and money and get just as enjoyable shave with kust the basics. Take that extra time and get outdoors.

Have you looked at the guy’s channel in any detail? He’s not just a “hobby” wet shaver: his channel gives information about soaps, creams, blades, razors, and even answers questions from novice shavers to help them with their own work. He’s an educator and a curator of terrific information, and also just so happens to enjoy his own shaving time. And what are you, exactly, besides a poor attempt at a critic?

@Mark Szorady It may only be a twelve dollar brush, but my Je&Co 24 mm (I have the faux tortoise handle with faux badger knot, same brush, different colors, apparently out of stock and not coming back) and it works as well as other brushes, badger and synthetic costing 4-5 times as much money. It only lets me down a bit with triple milled hard soap like Williams or Marvy, but a good badger just works better with those soaps. It has good enough backbone for brush loading and the knot is set at just the right depth in the handle to allow it to splay for face lathering. Je&Co also has a nice looking 24mm brush with a barber pole handle. Also on Amazon are brushes from Anbbas which look like the same handles with different brand screen printed on them and they put the tuxedo knot in the amber/faux tortoise handle and faux badger in the sparkly blue handle like you have there. It's a few extra dollars but comes with a travel tube case. As anyone who spends much time on Amazon or Alibaba knows, this is fairly common practice.
