In his first appearance, the Rhino actually claimed the transformation increased his intelligence as well as his strength. He wasn't depicted as having a low IQ until later issues.

@Gabe Stein , no, Gabe dude, it's not. I'm old enough that I actually read the Rhino's origin story when it first came out. He commented that the scientists who created him thought they could control him, but they didn't realize that when they increased his strength, they also unintentionally increased his intelligence. Marvel Comics eventually forgot about that, when they stopped caring about their creations. But ThePinkMan is correct, Gabe dude.....

If anyone think that they clearly ain't a real Rhino fan. There's a reason the Rhino has been in comics for as long as he has and he's always looked fine the way he is. More real Marvel fans said "what the fuck?!" to the movie because they got it completely wrong like they got the green goblin wrong.

Russians are also portrayed as heroes. Colossus, Black Widow, Red Star, Rocket Red, Magik, Darkstar, etc.

Haven't played by the game but from what I saw in a trailer, the Amazing Spider-Man game had an awesome Rhino design.

They tried the machine rhino in asm the comic series, it was a new guy trying to kill off the old rhino so he could gain the name(the old rhino destroyed him). The rhino has a lot of layers of emotion and depth to him now, at that point in the series he had gotten the suit off and had fallen in love, but the mech rhino chased him down and killed the woman he loved just so he would become the rhino again. It's a little painful to see them show him as such an idiot when he isnt like that anymore. Whoever is making the new ASM movies needs to pick up a comic book, and not an ultimate's comic book.

He is more a victim than a villain when you think about it.

So rhino has a poor immigrant story like Tony Montana from Scarface that's pretty rad they should make one origin story where he was actually a former Soviet soldier that became a criminal after the Soviet Union disbanded in the 90s I think that would make a pretty new refreshing story for Alexi for becoming rhino.

I also think that they should not have changed Hulk's actor, but to say that the movie wasn't good just because of that isn't really right. The movie may have been made safe, taking no risks, it did do it's job. The movie was done right. Ok, not as complex as the comics, but still done right.
