Yep. Exactly what I was going to comment before I saw this. Layne and Chrissy are the best singers (regardless of genre) of the last 40 years at least. And Jerry Cantrell is one of the greatest overall songwriters ever. I love AIC as my favorite band ever. Soundgsrden is up there, too though.

This whole album rocks. The guitars are in your face the drums are sick the vocals are unbelievable as well as the bass. This album is the best representation of Soundgarden. This is up there as one of the best produced albums of all time. Go back and listen to it. It's timeless.

the last time i can honestly say i was at peace and content, doing a 2000 piece jigsaw when my beloved mother was still here and i was still in hers.had the superunknown and living colour "times up" both albums on repeat till i finished the jigsaw, nicer times.i now can't help but get choked whenever i hear "like suicide" thinking of her, aside from it being one of the best metal songs ever/feel/heart/power wise it's those lyrcs "she lived like a murder how she'd fly so sweetly" what a fucking song hat an album

I bought it on cassette in 94. It sat in the door bin of my car for 18months before I listened to it!😂 30 years later? After listening constantly for the first couple of years, I’ve probably listened to it once per month since 97. To this day it’s possibly the best album I’ve ever heard. Definitely worth my hearing loss!😂

If I had to choose only one album from Soundgarden this would be it. This is up there with the best albums of the 90s without a doubt. Also back in the day when this album was released it was expensive to go and spend 20 bones on an artist so to get an album where pretty much the whole thing rocks was a no brainer. Everyone had this album
