@@darciesnothere you can just do 1-5 that's a complete story arc and is done by the show creator.

The actors are basically brothers in real life which the most appealing part of the show to me because it makes their on screen connection so much more believable and amazing ❤️

The creator of the show Eric Kripke specifically made each episode creepy because he wanted the viewer to feel as if they were watching a horror movie in a theater. Supernatural is designed around the horror genre and after 15 seasons remains the best show on TV!

Yeah but he left after season 5 and even season 4 gets more into myth and fantasy and less outright horror. Remember shooting a pilot is like shooting a movie. They shot in a whole different city (I think l.a. but the show is filmed in Vancouver.)

I've seen each episode multiple times, and I still freak at some of them but in a good way now. Some eps are freaky, and some utterly comedic.

Just so you know, yes, the first season has a lot of "jump-scares" and "monsters of the week", but the show is really more about the relationship between the brothers, and there are a lot of plots that get tangled that you have to figure out as the boys go along. It really does get better. I do think you might like it, if you watched more of it, but no, it's not for everyone. ;)

You might have to look through your fingers, or look away, or watch with friends and have them tell you when it's "safe" again - but really, that's pretty much just in the first season, and after that, it kind of mellows out a little. ;) But, you do you, no one's forcing your hand. :D

the series, while passing the first seasons moves away from the concept of terror (it does not lose it, but it is not the same as in this episode or others of the initial seasons) I loved that you recognized Jensen (Dean) for days of our lives, I love your reaction, I did not know you but I will certainly see more of your stuff.

You are truly missing out. Supernatural is unique in alot of ways. Maybe watch some of the funny episodes. Yellow Fever, Scoobynatural. Id join your patreon for this show. The fandom is bigger than dr who, bigger than grey anatomys. Literally only other fandom bigger is star wars.

I've never seen Supernatural, however many people that loved Buffy love it. You might want to add this to your Patreon if you want to continue.

That dynamic between the bros is what ends up making the show so addictive. I've been with the show since it first aired back in 2005. It's not for everyone, but I still feel you'd be missing out on a show that has broken many television records and has an underestimated, yet massive fanbase. Hope one day you'll give it another try and continue the series on to the end.

If you truly don't intend to follow the series, I think it'd be really funny to see you react to the comedic episodes in later seasons, like The French Mistake or Changing Channels. They're tonally very different from the pilot, and without context added to what's going on will probably make it even more entertaining P. S Jensen Ackles has a music career now and you should definitely check that out in your own time. Just put Jensen Ackles singing into KZread or check out his band Radio Company

the first season is heavily based on US urban legends. SPN is one of those shows that embraces many genres and things, horror, comedy, meta, religion and more, but at its core it's about love and family.

Oh I really hope you continue watching it bc the mystery solving gets better and the first 6 or 7 episodes are the scariest after that it’s really fun and easy going, I personally have finished the entire series and I loved it 🥰

@@darciesnothere You should see him on Dark Angel. He plays twins! He's not in the pilot, but the pilot is still very good and well worth watching for your channel (and not a scary show like this, lol, rather a scifi action one). .

I would love to see you watch an episode of this a week during spooky season (oct.)! Or watch episode 2 at least. The season gets so much better and the brother have such an interesting relationship.

I am hoping too!! That would be so fun. I'm a scary cat too, but this show is so good. The really terrifying episodes are, not that many imo. There is *always* a mystery. And jensen/dean. And so much family drama!!!

They don't even always have ghosts. In fact after a few seasons you barely ever see a ghost. There is like... people thst turn into animals, a guy who gambles with years (if you lose you get old), fairy tale based stories, mythology, even a cartoon episode (scoobie doo!!), faith healers... all kinds of stuff. This pilot is probably the creepiest in season 1.

You should continue, it’s not all jump scares, it’s very much about family & the brothers. You should try as it’s a brilliant series.

So watching your Buffy reactions I’m convinced you would LOVE this show. Yes some episodes are a bit scary for someone who is sensitive to scares as you are, but it is so much more than that and completely up your alley, with great comedy pieces and fantastic charachters and not every episode is as intense as the first one, they just had to set out their stall in the pilot.

Jensen also worked in dark angel and smallville, I recognized him from dark angel then I learned he was also in DOOL

No matter how many times I re-watch Supernatural...Season 1 is still the most creepiest, overall! once you get past Season 1, it doesn't stay that intense!

This reaction was absolutely priceless. I don't really think of Supernatural as being that scary. It's much more about the characters and their journey or chemistry they have with each other. As someone who watched all 15 seasons, I think you should at least watch the first 5 seasons. There are so many great characters and it's also a way to face your fears about the horror genre without it being too overwhelming.

this is pretty much as scary as it gets the show is about killing monsters but it's more about the brothers relationship you should really stick with it I did buffy and angel and I gotta say there way scarier this is my favorite show of all time and I just turned 61 you gotta at least give it a chance you'll definitely get a lot more subscribers it's a f@kin awesome show!!!!

Quite honestly I was scared very easily before this show and somehow the more I watched the more desensitized I got to any scares 😂 of course people get different levels of scared so I understand if you don't continue but this show is literally my favourite show on the planet 😂❤️

Supernatural is one of my favorite shows. It was on the air for half my life. It means a lot to me.

I’m so sad you won’t be reacting to the rest of the show, your reactions were pure joy for me partly because you were terrified and paying attention. So many people react in jaded ways, and talk while they miss key points. I wish I could watch it with you and warn you when the jump scares and dark/creepy parts happen. I do that for my friends through this and the walking dead… cause they enjoy it but don’t enjoy the intensity. So spoiling it a little helps. Just a heads up episode 2 has a creepy monster… and is slightly scarier than the pilot. ♥️

I would definitely recommend giving the show another try. My mom hates horror, can’t handle any scary movie at all, but she has replayed this show more than any show or film in the world. Absolutely obsessed. It’s honestly a hilarious show and I can’t recommend it enough. Takes a few episodes to really get going but once it does it’s worth every second.

I watched the first few episodes when it came out… then the Bloody Mary episode happened and I noped out for a few years. Came back at season 8 and forced myself to get caught up. Worth it. There are some weaker seasons, but over all it’s an amazing fandom (family) to be a part of so I am happy I went back and stuck through it. The SPN fandom is absolutely amazing and I know I will click with someone who experienced this show too. I wouldn’t delete the last season off my DVR until we had to get a new box lol. The morning process was real

For what its worth Kim Manners was an early producer/director of Supernatural till he passed from cancer. Kim was one of the producers/directors of X-files (if you want an alien connection)

Just literally skip to mid season 3, and then when you get hooked you can go back and watch the first 3 seasons. Lol

i've never watched the show, never plan to. i am just here for you and your take on it x)

HTGAWM is one of my FAVE shows and i've actually been thinking about doing the pilot cause when i watched it i was like... this is hands down the best pilot ive ever watched and i wonder if that holds up! also LOVE Bones!

I leant my friend the DVDs of Supernatural. She didn't even make it through the pilot as she decided to watch it alone at night... now i'm imagining her reaction being similar to yours! I'm still trying to convince her to watch a few of the funnier episodes though lol. It's hard to know what's scary to some people when this episode for instance didn't frighten me. (There are a handful of episodes of SPN that did frighten me a bit, which is saying something! Funnily enough those episodes didn't involve ghosts...)

SPOILERS FOR SUPERNATURAL - My favorite part of this video, while I do love the humor and such, is that you brought up aliens multiple times. In this show, there are no aliens. There are ghosts, demons, werewolves, vampires, etc., but no aliens. A few times they tease us with the possibility of aliens but it ends up being trickster gods (who later turn out to be angels), or one episode where Dean gets abducted and everything, but it turns out to be fairies

You’ve gotta watch it. It does get better and better. Watch during the day and close your eyes during the scary parts. I watch while I bounce on my trampoline

Aliens? Well there is an episode with a dancing alien.... You'll have ti watch more for context.

I'm sad you won't be reviewing this one. It's a great show, and you are very funny! But not everyone likes being scared.

Ooh, great reaction! Please do Firefly and Sense8! Two very different shows. Firefly is a space western and only has 14 episodes (and one movie). Also by Joss Whedon who did Buffy. Sense8 is a more modern speculative sci fi which is a lil bit raunchy and very very cool. It explores people's connections to one another.

Your my new favorite channel.

It's not called "Extraterrestrials" or "Outter Limits," it called "Supernatural" a word meaning magical, mystical, paranormal, ghostly, mysterious, spooky and weird. Watched this show from the beginning and even if your not into the supernatural it is worth it. Ppl can get past the jump scares for the entertainment of it all.

She would love the episode changing channels . And other episodes like it. Like the Scooby-Doo cross over episode. Or the french mistake.

It's like the first season is more of the scary things, but slowly in season two a bigger plotline comes in and it is not that bad anymore. It get less about monster of the week and more about plotline. The relationship between the brothers, their real and found family etc. It is worth it :) Also, if you had a crush on Jensen Ackles when he was young, google him now.

Loved your reactions you're very funny! This is one of my favorite shows and I'm like you I hate scary stuff. You should definitely consider watching it's really not that bad I promise lol. Amazing show.

Lol, you should try American Horror Story, but the season 9 pilot. Total fun.

One thing I love about this show is that it uses real lore from around the world as its basis for ghosts, demons, angels, and gods. Also you learned at least one thing from the pilot, and that is that salt can protect you. Unfortunately you didn't learn how it works yet.

Check out Roswell (1999) if you like aliens.. it's pure 90s nostalgia. (and it's not scary! I'm a scaredy cat too and it gets kinda weird but it's pretty tame)

@@darciesnothere Girl I would not do that to you!! lol (this was my first real preview of Supernatural as well, and it will also be my last! Even though there's a cute angel guy who pops up.. might just watch his scenes isolated if they aren't scary lol) I really hate that pilot of SN and had no idea it was that frightening. Roswell is a breath of fresh air compared to it.

I knew you wouldn't wanna see anymore of it.

How a ghost kills depends on the ghost; the variations span a broad spectrum... but as bad as ghosts are they are also one of the easiest to deal with so long as you know their history and/or can get access to their remains. So many other unique and far more dangerous things to fight in the world of Supernatural.

@@darciesnothere Salt and Iron are good deterrents and will hold off a ghost for a bit. If they aren't fully invested in hunting you personally it could be enough to get you clear of them. If that's not the case, then it's time to do some sleuthing. LoL

How about you just do the first 5 seasons? As a compromise. Because that reaction was so freaking good! By the way, I love that you knew Jensen from Days of Our Lives.
