He absolutely was, Dean wasn't just a character Jensen played, or even a part of him, Dean was Jensen's friend and constant companion, he was someone Jensen looked to for strength in dark times, someone who he cried for during moments of Dean's own inner pain coming to the surface, he admired him and his drive to do righteous good in the face of so much darkness. Jensen loves Dean, and he always will.

I'm leaving work and you come here and make me cry. 6 months late but I don't give a shit, fuck I love Dean man. If I could choose a partner when hunting momsters, it woumonsters, any day of the week.

I discovered this once seasons 1 and 2 were on Netflix. I was still in the early days of loss and grief having lost my wife and daughter to a drunken driver. This show came along at the right time, and helped me thru it. It is one of the key reasons I am still here. So I wanna say thanks to Kripke, J2, Misha, Mr Sheppard and everyone else I met along the way. This show will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I haven’t watched Spn in years, but this video still made me cry. Dean is really one of the most heartbreaking characters I’ve ever seen

What needs to happen sometime before the show ends is him performing this while flash backs of everything that’s happened so far plays in the background. That would be absolutely perfect in my opinion

We played this for my brother n sister. They both had cancer n died the same day. My sister was 22 and our brother was 27. I went into 3-4 seizures when I got the call. I have epilepsy and stress sets them off. My sister loved Jensen's voice. This was her fave song. Our brother loved spn and he liked this song as well. Now everytime I hear this song I think of the good times n sometimes cry. I miss them so much.

Jensen's voice has improved a lot since he first started singing. This is a beautiful version of this song and I love the way he sounds when he sings. Especially when you put Supernatural on the screen it's enough to tear your heart out if you're a supernatural fanatic LOL

At cowboy Dean I realized it was Jensen singing and I lost it! So beautiful, so meaningful, so amazing! In a way, I see this video as Jensen saying goodbye to Dean, this incredible man that he's shared a face with all these years!

I never really get to appreciate the video because this is normally playing in my car while I drive, but the shot at the end gets me every time.

This is the only TV show that I fell into so much that I couldn't miss it or actually had the feel the dread of loss when they announced that it was ending. I have to buy the box set. This is something that's timeless.
